5.25.25. First time visiting this store.. All seem good.. however I discovered after we got home.. the Ramen that was on sale.. Expired 2.5 months ago.
Unknowing is one thing.. intentionally selling EXPIRED food is unethical, unhealthy and do not have the best interest of Customers. Debating to report to Health Dept and FDA.

One of my favorite Asian supermarket / fast food counter to go to in Irvine. The store is always clean, great selection of fresh produce and amazing seafood and meat choices. You can easily spend a couple hours walking each aisle to discover something new. The fast food counters within the grocery store has great selections, items are reasonably priced and tasty.

The new H Mart in Irvine opened in January 2023 at Northpark Plaza. When it first opened, the food court was crowded with many people. It has been more than a year since we last dined in here. When seeing not so many customers in the food court, I was quite surprised. However, after just five minutes, I completely understood why.

Advice to the Upper Management:

Please consider following the example set by Mitsuwa Marketplace. Despite having a small food court, they employ two people to clean the dining tables for customers. This food court at Northpark Plaza is significantly larger, but there are no staff members cleaning the tables or the floor. That’s why they are so dirty. Customers should not have to clean up after themselves. Please have more napkins on each table. Cutting back on labor costs in this area is not advisable.

We don’t want to dine in an environment which makes us feel uncomfortable. We won’t return until they improve !

Giant weevil in my brand new rice from H-Mart north park… this was so disgusting!! I walked through the door and got my rice out to soak it and there is a huge weevil crawling around in my sealed bag of rice. So gross, I used to come here all the time but I will be going back only for a refund because this is extremely unhygienic. What other things do they have crawling around in the back?

This is a wonderful store. They have lots of Korean American stuff. They have my favorite food straight from Japan. I am grateful 🙏 thank you Jesus 😊

Today I was here to get some yummy Korean food from the food court. My tummy was happy. A while back I was shopping for spicy noodles and a few other items to make an Asian meal. It didn't seem right that the stockers had Spanish music playing. I'll do my shopping later in the day next time.

Very clean, neat Asian Groceries at your Irvine neighborhood. This is the 3rd Hmart store in Irvine. Seafood section is exceptional and fresh products also beat my expectation. Many products are on special sale so keep an eye on it. I heard the sale is going to continue till the end of January.
