I was assaulted. Afraid to leave my home, shell shocked. Broke a couple bones...shopping was a struggle. Out of work, shopping was hard, I . made an appointment with an advocate. She referred me to grey bears food assistance. I have never needed help before so I called. Not only was the team kind, loving and understanding...but greeted me with a kind hello when I showed up looking for assistance. For a mere small donation I received a bag full of vegetables....being a vegetarian was a jack pot for me. I made the best stir fry...mind you not old vegis but yummy fresh wholesome delicious ones. My goal is to donate my free time to help complete this bag with a serving of tofu to complete the process to show my gratitude. So thank you grey bears for giving me hope once again. Love to Rosa for believing me.

I just feel very very blessed every Friday that I go to grey bears and I see this wonderful lady every time greeting me very well and always offering food to me and it makes me feel good like family and she's a very outstanding lady
