Great place to paint. Parking too far from the main house though. More than just community gardens. Floral gardens as well. Historical buildings, nature trails, gift shop & general store, tours of the main house sporting period furniture. Several festivals held on the grounds every year. Historical events like teas, flea markets civil war reenactments sponsored by the city.

A must- visit if you love nature and history. The historic buildings and houses have been well maintained, and the grounds are good for walks.In summer, we can see community gardeners toiling away, and the fruits of their toil could be seen as the beautiful flowers and all sorts of vegetables in the gardens. Place is also dog friendly

A great group of people engaged in the community garden. The season has just begun so a lot of activity. The facilities are well put together. Water is provided too. Compost and wood chips are brought in from time to time.
