Easily one of the best places to order hops. In particular, the field ready crowns are perfect. Having spent a few years planting from rhizome, I've found the crowns to be a bit sturdier, and much easier for direct planting as well as for weathering the early spring weather we have in CO.

Ordering was easy, prices were very reasonable, and shipping was prompt and on time. Planting was also extremely easy, and I had no issues with the crown I ordered (AllAlpha/Rakau). I even got a free hops in the package! (Vanguard)

Definitely looking forward to starting a crown of Multihead neomexicana to play with the strain and see how it fares in its native terroir! 🙂 I'll obviously be going to GLH to pick up a field ready crown of multihead in a couple of months!

This is by far the best place in the entire country to buy Hop plants! Why waste your time with a rhizome when you can buy the whole plant? Great Lakes Hops doesn't sell any rhizomes and instead sell growing plant starts... You're practically guaranteed success!

Great company that sells quality product. Ordered 10+ plants from them, different varieties and all are healthy and growing. Will not buy rhizomes ever again. If you want quality and a healthy crop, buy from these guys.

The prices are pretty good, especially since your getting a crown and not just a rhizome. Ordered the Newport hops strain from them. When it came, i was really surprised how vibrant and healthy it was, considering it had just been through the mail. The thing grows like crazy i swear its bigger each time i check on it. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks

Did not send me a tracking code or notify me when they shipped me my hops. So they say outside for 4 days in a box and died. Don't order off their site.
