Overall happy with our experience and food. Made a reservation for Father's Day (party of 4) to try a new place. They got us right in at our reservation time, and we sat for at least 5 minutes at a tiny booth without being greeted by waitstaff. When we asked to be moved from the tiny booth to a 4-top table they were happy to do that and our wait person came immediately and was very good. The restaurant didn't look very busy for a holiday. Our food came out quickly, although the hostess had commented that the kitchen was a bit backed up. My husband enjoyed his local beer and said his BBQ platter was average. My son ordered the Dad Bod burger, and it looked perfectly cooked and he liked it. Our daughter got a wrap, which she liked, and I got the Cobb salad, which was fresh, delicious and big enough that I took some home. At the end we ordered 2 slices ($10 each) of the chocolate cake they display at the hostess stand. This is a good marketing technique because it catches your eye as you arrive. I saw several pieces of the cake being cut. In our opinion, as someone who makes homemade chocolate cake, the cake was just average and overpriced. The atmosphere was uplifting and we could see that they have live music some days. We would probably go again.

Kris was fantastic! Attentive, knowledgeable, and fun!! She made our brunch over the top perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better server today. The food was delicious and the portions were substantial!! Thank you Kris and crew for a great brunch with my besties.

Fun place. This was our third time stopping here. The food and service was much better than the last time we visited. This time I had a flight of beers. I liked every one of them. Our waitress, Quinn was very nice, attentive and helpful. We look forward to returning in the future.

Great lunch spot for groups. Get the power bowl with crema: upgrade to their smoked BBQ beef. Very tasty and filling.

Great food (the chef knows flavor), great beer, and the old fashioned was also surprisingly good for a brewery. Amelia was a great server—thank you guys. Keep it up!

The mac and cheese was awesome, especially with the pulled pork. It was the perfect combo of salty and greasy. My sister had high praise for the sweet potato fries.
There's a lot of beer choices that have a great variety of flavors. I'd highly recommend the 313.

This was our first time dining at Grand River Brewery in Jackson. The food was very enjoyable with large portions enough to share. Our waitress Amelia went above and beyond in answering our questions and offering her input regarding different menu choices. She also gave us a history of the restaurant and was very engaged with us throughout our dining experience. We will be returning, and feel it is a place we will share with others. The ambiance was great!!Thank you Amelia for making our first meal very enjoyable.
