Really nice local hardware store in Manistee.

We came for a few things while working on a project nearby.

The store is well stocked, clean, and organized. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The exact opposite of a home Depot or Menards.

Super super helpful. I went in for 6 bolts. Not only did they allow me to take several out to the car without paying to find fit when I came back in they helped find the right ones thread and length, and was so fairly priced I felt like I should pay more!!! Great place to shop buy and be!!!

I ordered a cheeseburger and they said they would make it, but they then made me wait an hour before telling me that they wouldn’t make me one. I just feel betrayed by the store and feel that even if they wouldn’t make me a burger they should have told me from the start. I am disappointed in the brand and feel that they should try to do a better job at treating there customers better.

Great place for everything! As soon as you walk in they will ask if they can help you find something! Great prices on everything!! Carpet cleaning vacuum rentals are a great deal, and they helped me get all the right soaps and everything!! It really has a home feeling, it takes away from all the industrial feelings! I'm happy they took over Ace hardware!!

The good is large inventory, the bad is very high prices and cursory service. We just lost another hardware store that was the exact opposite. I like service from people that have a sense of ownership. Gilroy's employees seem just cogs in the machine.

We used to love this store but customer service has really gone downhill. Needed paint and I stood at the paint counter for several minutes before the guy even said anything to me. My paint color was in the computer but when I took it home to finish the job the color was off. I asked the guy to show me the color he had mixed and he just opened the can and said there you go. Not happy
