Just moved here 6 months ago. Considering the economy and prices I've got to say, I save money here. The meat specials are great. The prices overall are better than the major chains and further away. Employees are very polite and helpful. The deli chicken is great. I hope that the store stays locally owned and the community supports it.

Prices are on the higher side but it's an actual grocery store with a real produce and fresh deli section without having to drive 15+ minutes or settling for dollar general.
All employees I've interacted with have been very nice 🙂

Great little grocery store. They have most items you would need and the prices aren't too much higher than other places. Some items are even cheaper.

Gene's is also one of our favorite places to buy ground beef! Their meat selection is great and everything is always very fresh.

The store is always clean, well stocked, and the staff is very friendly.

I cannot imagine Croton not having this little local gem in the community!

Been shopping here for years, 24 to be exact. Always check the sales they have great prices. I only shop here for all of the meat for my family. Such good quality and I always get it on sale!! Produce is always fresh too. The custom birthday cakes are very tasty and you can get what you want on a cake like extra roses etc. by request. The staff has always helped me in and out of the store as I am handicapped which is greatly appreciated. They even load the groceries in my van without me asking. Little things like that go a long way and mean a lot!! Thank you.

Nice grocery store is well selved with food and and there is a small deli. Staff was freindly and heplful. The prices are like everywhere, although they do have sales and the send out coupons to their regular customers who sign up for their flyers.
