moved from northern california about a year ago and this store is right by my house which i thought would be so convenient. first impression was it’s basically a safeway just way more expensive but worse produce quality the workers are alright they obviously don’t wanna work but at least they have good customer service and can help you!! besides that one cashier i think her name is ana? EVERY SINGLE time i come in she is always on cash which after talking to my friend she’s been there for multiple years and seems to work full time so there’s no missing her, she is so so rude it’s truly shocking how rude and unprofessional she is. before making this review i looked through the current ones and the amount of bad reviews about her make me question the management here. seriously?!? after about 5 visits with her being so mean where i was truly speechless, i would try to avoid her but there’s been about 2 times i’ve shopped seen her at the register and i will just leave my cart and go somewhere else. i haven’t been there in 4 months because i REFUSE to go if she’s there’s. i suggest either a) firing her or holding her accountable because i bet you she is one of the main reasons you lose business and b) get self checkout so people dont need to deal with her nasty behavior!

Nothing against this Gelson’s, except that all the chocolate I’ve ever bought here is old and gross. I have to wonder if it’s because the clientele who shop here never buy any chocolate and so it all sits on the shelves for ages. Strange and a bummer.

I preordered my pre-cooked thankgiving meal and when I went to pick it up, even though I had my "confirmation" with order number and a barcode, they said they couldnt find my order! I ended up without a thanksgiving meal for my family. Then they helped the next customer and just ignored me. NEVER will I order from them again.

Top quality items not found in other stores. Many unique items. I had the BBQ chicken pizza from Wolfgang Puck @ service deli. Very friendly staff with such great customer service! Took advantage of some sale items today!

I believe on certain weekends WINE TASTING is back. Only 3 small samples 😐 but it's free!
They always have such a great selection of wines on sale. They have the best Demonstrator I have ever heard...

Whole Foods prices, Ralph's quality, for a place where you have to wait in long lines to pay, because they have no self-checkouts. I don't know why anyone shops here.
