I'm so happy they took over the old Courtesy Cafe diner. It is a perfect location for the most popular and best tasting Mexican food for 200 miles in any direction. The beef taco combo is what I get every time, with a horchata!

Meat tacos were the best I’ve ever had! Fresh brewed ice tea and great service. They have moved, they are across from Starbucks.

Very tasty Mexican food. It's a very small place. Food was good and so was the service. Prices are very reasonable. There's a very large car park next to the restaurant. When we visited on a Monday night, restaurant was quite busy but we didn't have to wait too long to get served. I would happily go back if I am in the area again .

Make it your first stop to visit entering Cali for breakfast. The food was hot, and the waitress was attentive. Had a menudo and taco, and it was very good. Small place indoor and outdoor seating. Come early for breakfast. There is plenty of parking early for those with trailers.

Busy but worth the wait: we had to wait over an hour for an inside table on a Thursday night but they do give you a pager so you can wait in your warm car on a chilly winter evening Once we were seated we were taken care of quickly. Our orders were placed right away, our drinks delivered promptly and our food followed in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious! The server gave just the right amount of attention. It has that local small town informality with people standing around outside the patio smoking, and the inside seating is quite loud. The food was really good, though, so I will be back! I had a shrimp taco that was AMAZING and a chicken enchilada that was a little on the dry side but the chicken was good quality so I'm not complaining. The rice and beans were just right.

The chips and salsa were fantastic—authentic and fresh, which is the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars.

Unfortunately, the service was some of the worst I've experienced. It took about 20 minutes just to get 2 waters and the chips and salsa. We then waited another 40 minutes for a carne asada plate that never arrived. We ended up leaving after seeing the table next to us get their food, despite arriving 20 minutes after us. If you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend coming here. They really need to improve their service.
