My 88 year old Army Veteran dad had a blast at their Fall Festival. They welcomed us with open arms. Even though it was the end of the growing season, there were still plenty of vegetables to bring home. We love how it is all organic.

I was hired from John Ress to tape and patch and prime one coat and paint one coat for the barn area. Three days before the project start date I contracted Covid. Knowing that John was not vaccinated, we agreed to push the start date back 14 days. Since I have worked for his wife for a tenure of 7-8 years, every year, several different projects in that time. His text to me that was saved was "We love you r work and I will wait the 14 days until you are cleared". When I arrived to start the project, John, had purchased the wrong material. His comment was "Go the Sherman Williams and pick up the material and he would reimburse the value after the job". Once the correct materials were purchased I gave the receipt to John. The job was to tape and apply 3 coats of taping compound, however, whoever installed the drywall did not do a professional installation, which at this time then had to apply two additional coats of the compound to make the job look the way I was hired to do. I did not charge John for the additional supplies needed to complete the project. One week later I finished the project, was paid for materials used, and labor. On John's check the memo line stated 100% completed. Six full days later John stopped payment on the check for labor and materials. At that time I tried calling John, but he had blocked my number. Then I received a text with vulgar language telling me not to show up at the job site or contact John or he would get the sheriff involved. We were having a little get together, since my wife is currently dying from cancer, so one of John's friends called me up at 8pm, I asked him to call back on Monday. I asked to relay why I was unable to talk at that time. Two minutes later John called me again. I saved all the texts from his wife as well as John, stating the quality of my work and the threats as well. This farm is for Vets, which I fully support, but knowing the owner and his wife I could not understand how they can run this farm for Vets seeing how they have 2 horses and 30 chickens on this farm. The animals were being abused during the time I worked at the farm. One day it was raining and frozen ice and the horses were left out all day kicking at the stalls to go in. The horses had icicles hanging from their blankets and their hair. Personally this is not an establishment I would want to visit. I do not wish to say anymore at this time until our court date has past.

Went today for the fall festival. The flyer stated it started at 12, but when we got there, they were still setting up. That would have been ok, but the environment didn't feel friendly to new comers and when trying to ask a question, we were ignored.
Waste of a 20 min drive
