This is the best Fosters Freeze I have ever been to. Excellent service, management, and food!

Everything about this place is clean--restrooms included. The staff is polite and friendly. The service is quick. The food is done in a delicious yet presentable fashion.

I like the old fashioned look that this restaurant has.

This is an exemplary restaurant and should be a model to be followed by all Fosters Freeze.

I've always loved having a convenient burger joint nearby. When you're deep in the mountains, like all the residents living here, something like this is always nice to have around for its convenience and quality. Although things may not be the same with the Infamous Richard not being here so much, they still have the same quality of service and quality of food!
Just a shout out to Richard, thank you for all your many years of wonderful food, Service, and ridiculously huge smile!

The food is good enough. Where else you gonna go? The thing that kills me is that, whoever owns it now takes zero pride in how the place looks. Busted drinking fountain, abandoned car. The worst though is the more or less abandoned dining room, and the outside area with deteriorating tables that never get washed. The area seems to never get swept and the forgotten landscaping is usually littered with trash. The whole place needs painting and maby some maintenance to the sign. A PA system to call out orders would be nice too. It just doesn't seem well cared for. As locals we still eat there often, it just looks really raggedy.

We are visiting from out of town and stopped here on our first night. We loved the hot, fresh crinkly fries though the burgers weren’t our favorite - we still had a nice time eating in the shady spot outside. All the locals behind us were ordering ice cream treats (not really food items) so we will try that next time 🙂

Kids and I sampled some dipped cones, or dipped bowls? They were kind enough to dip our ice cream in a bowl for my young kids. We also used the bathroom which was acceptable. Nice place to stop with traveling down 9. Convent shaded tables are located out front.

The nicest man ran this place. He would happily customize your order, if you had an easy change to an order. Good old American food.

I think the quality for the price is good! The line is incredibly slow so I call in ahead of time and still have to wait for a while just to get to the window. Some operational issues that could be improved, but a solid go to if we want a burger for dinner and no one wants to cook. Plus they always get our order right!

This place is amazing and a cornerstone of Boulder Creek. The prices are the same as 2006. Which in this economy is very welcomed.
