Visiting the Ford Rouge Complex was an amazing experience for me. It was incredible to witness the entire production process, from raw materials to the final vehicle. Seeing the F-150 being assembled was a real highlight, and I was impressed by how smoothly everything ran in such a massive facility. The sustainability efforts, like the living roof, stood out to me as well. The guides were very knowledgeable, which made the tour even more engaging and informative. If you're interested in manufacturing or just curious about how cars are made, I highly recommend it!

This is the pace to go of you want to see how The famous assembly line in production. The tour starts off at the Henry Ford Museum with a shuttle picking you up to bring you to the factory. Once you're there, you get to see two different movies about the history of the complex. After those movies, you get to go into the factory on a surrounding catwalk to watch f-150s being built. There are different ambassadors around to answer questions about what you were seeing.

First you watch two 10 minute videos about Ford's history and innovation! Next you visit the plant which is absolutely incredible. Such a state of the art and cool place... It is where the F-150 trucks are made. Every truck you see being produced has already been bought and paid for!

Great tour. Not a great tour for small children, but definitely worth including in your trip to The Henry Ford Museum. The entire tour takes as little as an hour and a half but we spent about three hours.

The Rouge Factory tour via The Henry Ford is absolutely amazing! I recommend that anyone of all ages take the tour. Watch this manufacturing giant in action. The movie shown at the beginning of the tour was surprisingly good! It immersed you in the history of the complex with 360 screen views and also via sound and smells. You definitely become part of the place. Next, the observation tower. See the living roof and an overview of the complex. Watch newly born F-150's take their first steps so to speak over the Shake'm up course before being parked and loaded onto their final destination. This is the only place where cameras are allowed on the tour. You were warned! Next up to the factory. One elevated catwalks you'll see from start to finish the making of an F-150! What an iconic truck, and it's made by awesome people. After this there is a gift shop and back on the bus to the museum. The tour is 2 to 3 hours long. It's worth every penny for the ticket!

What a fascinating tour! We saw a couple of short "rah-rah Ford" movies and then got to overlook the property from an observation deck, followed by a walk around a catwalk above the factory floor.

We were able to stop and watch the assembly line at our own pace, and it really was very interesting.

Photos aren't allowed on most of the tour.
