Very awesome first experience here. Wanted to try somewhere different then chain foods restaurants. And I'm glad I did while I was up north. Very awesome unique set up inside as well as great foods that were locally made and lot of the goods were made from scratch. I had a special shredded beef type of sandwich (like a Philly) very good tasty. Only thing I wish it had was a horseradish type sauce for it. But it's my own personal opinion. It was great without too though. Staff was very friendly and happy I was there to eat. Birdy was very friendly as well she took my order and made sure everything was good and right.

Also they spin all old school records for the music inside and had a very good vibe inside. As well as different kinds of breakfast foods and drinks as well. Love this place definitely will be back when I go up north again.

We visited mid March prior to the crowds of Spring Break. The music came from a record player (loved it), they had a selection of beer and soda, and they had a bowl of rocks to enjoy. I love rocks. We had smash burgers, chips and a coke. Very good. I love the burnt edges of a smash burger.

I had the most delicious meal in many years at Fiddleheads. The breakfast eggs , potatoes , sausage , toast and jam were Spectacular!!! The price was just right.'
"Mama Bird " served/ treated me royally. She was so friendly and enthusiastic!!! I will definitely be back as soon as I can. I believe the meal I had was the Farmer's Breakfast

This little breakfast and lunch restaurant in Lake Leelanau is a gem. The atmosphere is classic up north, the food is wonderful - I would dare to say one of the best, if not the best, breakfast in Leelanau County (and, just maybe, the Traverse City area). Their pop up dinners are great too. I had the cheesesteak and, honestly, it took me right back to my roots in the Philadelphia area. Maybe the best one I've had outside of Pennsylvania! Highly recommended.

What a nice addition to the region. Friendly service. We had the homemade sausage and raclette omelette which were yummy and fresh. Most of it was locally sourced or homemade. Really lovely spot for breakfast. Nice place if you appreciate plants, people, and music. The hot sauce. Collection , maple vanilla syrup for your coffee, record collection for customers to listen to, Michigan stones/art, and terrariums are all thoughtful additions.

Last minute decision to stop for breakfast and we made the right choice. We ordered the corned beef and hash special, the Baja omelet and the Pancakes. Everything came out looking beautiful and it all tasted delicious. Zach was cooking our meals and took great pride in what he was doing. The dining room is small and quaint while doubling as a small market for local products. Prices were a bit high but worth the value. We will be back!

What a gem! It smells so good in there, and you can tell the food is made with love. We stop for some lunch after hiking and swimming. The only negative is that the grab and go salads didn't have enough lettuce 🙂 but I just ordered a side of mixed greens to add to it.
