We have been dealing with Robert Matouka for about 6 years.We have many policies with Robert. However over the last 3 years this agency (Robert is the owner) has become very difficult to deal with. To get a quote from Robert is a very looonnnggg time consuming chore. Robert will initially ask questions and you think ok I’ll be getting a quote soon. Nope it’s was phone call after phone call going over all the initial info again, but this time one question at a time. For us to get a quote it took about Two weeks. Once we got the quote it was crazy high. We then called two more agencies, told them the exact same circumstances and got a quote back from them within 2 days. The kicker was is the other two agencies came in over $2000 cheaper for the same coverage. When we told Robert we were going to have to go with a different company he was not happy. Later in the day he called back irate that we were not going with him. Tried to explain but he was so upset he was yelling so loud we had to hang up on him. Remember this man is the owner. He was actually upset that we didn’t go with him enough to tell us to take all of our policies to another agency because what we had with him was peanuts. I don’t call 6 policies with him peanuts. I will confirm with my new agency that we have proper coverage and make sure we are paying the correct premium. I find it very
concerning that Robert would react with such irrational behavior for long time clients. Good luck and remember if you call Robert have patience and have a lot of time allowed to get a quote. We are moving on to another agency that appreciates our business and respects us as their customer. This agency has lost that in the last 3 years.
