A little more expensive than your average box store but worth it. You get what you pay for, I can buy a car that has been through many hands and put in the work to make it work. The same with meat, if it is fresh and has not been in a semi truck for days, I can just use salt and pepper and no need to do a ton of things to serve a great meal.

I've been a Fanstil fan for years. Their smoked turkeys are the best and that's coming from someone who doesn't like regular turkey. They also do bone-in ham the old fashioned way. It's a bit of a drive for me but it's worth it to shop the store instead of having it shipped. They have a nice selection of bacon, sausages, fresh cut meats and various made in Kansas products. Fanstil is a Kansas gem.

We use Fanestil for bulk purchases of bacon. An example of their customer care happened in March 2024. I was looking for steaks for my husband's birthday. The meat cutter recommended I buy the loin(?) and have him custom cut it and not only save money but take home more steaks. They're the ones I trust now. You'll also love their custom brats. There are none on the market that compare in flavor and quality of meat.
