The BEST place for DYI workshops and gear from a garden type angle. Bee keeping, apple juicing, composting and worm farms, kombucha scobes and yeasts to ferment anything from beer to hard cider to who knows what. TIP: Sign up for the workshops — they are AWESOME!!

This is the BEST store in the world, I love it so much. They have everything you need for DIY bread and cheese making, kombucha, backyard chickens and gardens, bee keeping, and so much more.
Jim is so helpful, he even did a little research for me when I couldn’t find the chicken ordinance in Bolinas. They even have helpful resources on their website for chicken ordinances in many Marin towns.
If you are a DIYer or are interested in the things I’ve mentioned above, they also offer great workshops.
10/10 would HIGHLY recommend, and buy local!

I was anxiously waiting for the store opening and stopped by Saturday on their first day. Jim and his staff were very friendly and I enjoyed talking with them about my new bees and my chickens. They had a great selection of bee, chicken, and bird supplies as well as some owl and bat houses. I plan on attending some of the classes they offer on bee keeping and home brewing.
