Absolutely outstanding delicious home cooking. Everything was so good. I was in area for work and wish I had a place like this where I'm from. The green beans are what you want when it comes to southern style. The mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent. Gravy was so flavorful and rich. Cat fish cooked perfectly. And of course, the slaw was spot on

The food and service was great. Took a little time, but well worth it. The waitresses was nice but her blue hair was very strange. Half the overhead lights were either off or burnt out, not sure. The decorations on the wall were 1990's Hobby Lobby except for the wonderful paintings/prints of singers. Those are great. I thought the tv advertisement stating "if you see a misspelling, you get a $10 gift card" was genius. It kept me looking at the advertisements, haha. I'd recommend brightening up the place, updating the decor, and piping in some 1970-1980's country music. I will absolutely return. The food was great!

We thought it was excellent. Service was great and very friendly. We’re from here and it reminded us of good old fashioned country cooking’. Hard to find that as much now.
I have food allergies and I was still able to figure out something that was good and met my allergy needs.

I have been to many restaurants that has “southern food” and this is definitely not one of them! Waitress needs to improve her customer service, not friendly at all! The food tastes like it either came out of the can or box! I only had a vegetable plate. Mashed potatoes are instant! Asked the waitress if the Mac and cheese was baked and it was not!! Collards are too salty!! Save your money and go somewhere else like Shoneys over in TN or Mildred’s

Just don’t. We were the only customers at lunch time. It felt like dining in an old flea market that had gone out of business. We couldn’t find the bathrooms (you have to go through the kitchen area to get to it.) The flavor of the food was normal- not superb or bad. The pricing is too high. No kids meals. No sauce on the ribs. Freezer fries. Rolls are straight out of the pack, not heated, & no butter. Served in styrofoam. Clean & paint the place. Make it a walk up, order, & seat yourself spot. This is no sit down restaurant.

Hands down BEST home cooked food around especially the catfish and all the sides you could definitely taste that it's made with love. Absolutely love this place and recommend to anybody looking for that great food you won't be disappointed! Recommend trying everything.

The restaurant is not very inviting. It's not very friendly. We arrived right at noon and were the only customers the entire time we were there. The server took a long time to acknowledge our presence. She wasn't very friendly and
was...well...kind of gross.

She wasn't nice. She didn't seem to want to be there. She was efficient enough, however. She didn't bring fresh lemon and fresh onion slices out with the catfish which was an impressive touch the first time we had been to this restaurant when it opened. She did bring them upon request. I think it is odd that they bring the meal as takeout even if you are eating in. It feels like they don't want you there.

The tea and catfish was the best I have had in the area at any restaurant. I'm not sure how she does it but the catfish is among the best I've ever had. They are perfectly fried. Tender and juicy without being oily. The breading is mild with a popcorn like flavor. If taking a bite of this catfish perfectly drizzled with fresh lemon juice coupled with a small bit of the sweet white onion is anything like heaven, count me a believer! This catfish is so very good!

All things considered, is Everlina's worth the trip? Let's see...

We’ve driven by Everlina’s numerous times since they opened and today we finally stopped in for lunch. As I sit here writing this review, my belly is still digesting the delicious ribs, collard greens, mac & cheese, baked beans and apple cobbler (all for $10!). The cook and his wife were confident we’d love our meal and they were absolutely right. Generous portions, fresh food, fast & friendly customer service, and a great price…what’s not to like? We absolutely enjoyed our dose of home cooking and will definitely be back! If there’s a better meal in Hazel Green, I’d like to know about it.
