I hate to leave a negative review, but I do not understand how this place has more than 4 stars. I recently bit into a scone I bought from here and noticed that it tasted weird. Upon closer inspection, I saw that it was filled with green mold. This is clearly an ongoing problem, because I checked the health department reports and saw that someone had reported moldy pastries in April.

On top of the literal hazards to public health, the vibes are abysmal. Usually I can abide bad decor—I even find it charming—but this place has real empty, godforsaken energy. It’s like the evil twin of Elysee in Westwood. Go there instead.

Great place for enjoying a coffee with high quality pastries. They have have a large selection of quiche as well as an extensive menu.

I was sold old pastries with mold spots. While waiting to pay, I saw other pastries in the store with mold, one with a visible hair. The server selected the pastries by hand and did not stop to evaluate the quality of the pastries they were selling. They don't seem to appreciate their customers if they would sell food that could cause their customers to be sick.

Paid $20 for an inedible sandwich. It was supposed to be a panini but was served on stale baguette. Impossible to bite through. Was supposed to have mozzarella, pesto and turkey--it was just turkey and regular cheese, incredibly dry. I got it to-go, else I would've asked for my money back. Straight in the bin.

A nice little European style cafe with lots of baked goods / treats. Coffee is also European style, with many drinks being a straight espresso shot with a little cream added.

Tried the Black Forest cake and cheese apricot danish and figure 8 delicious chocolate is perfect. It's quiet calm and clean, the employee are awesome patient and friendly

Had the best experience here last week! My husband is from Sweden and I was searching high and low for a princess cake! The almond marzipan, cream and the jam are his favorite, he said that this princess cake here was actually the best one he had ever had, ever!!!! The espresso made me feel like I was back in Italy it was that great short strong not watery at all golden creamy texture. The right way. For real. I'm Sicilian I should know. It was just the way it's supposed to be. We went for our wedding anniversary and it was such a great experience the workers were so kind it was very clean and beautiful inside the prices are great also, and we were able to sit outside at their cute tables which was so nice and romantic and made for the perfect mini date! Please go to this amazing European Cafe their pastries are exquisite just as well as their cakes but I highly recommend trying the princess cake, was amazing!

Finally wandered into this place after saying we wanted to try it for years, and we will be back. Vibe feels like Europe, the pastries look fresh, and divine, and the smoked salmon quiche we ordered was perfection.
