I love El Toro Carnicería. I used to come often when visiting family as a kid. The meat market has a variety of fresh meat and seafood and they sell their freshly made tortillas from their taqueria next door. They have a lot of fresh vegetables and all the products you need to make some good authentic Mexican food. They not only have a taqueria next door, but also a liquor store on the other side. At their taqueria, they sell their flavorful carnitas, tacos, burritos, tamales, and other meats by the pound. I stopped by since I was in the area and still looks like how I remembered it as a child. The taqueria had a big line but it moved quickly. Their tacos were packed with meat and super tasty. Next time I'm in Santa Ana, definitely coming back to buy some carnitas on their own. Check them out if you like freshly prepared food and tortillas or to cook up something delicious!

Don't come here for pico Rivera sports arena tickets they charge unecessary extra fee per ticket on top of that they don't answer phone calls i had to go back and forth between Pico Rivera sports arena and this place el toro because el toro employee told me they didn't have tickets when i specifically told her the date 11/10/24 Jaripeo... When i called pico again they said that's weird they should have the tickets i called toro several times just for a simple question i just wanted to buy tickets when they finally answered she goes "oh yea we do have them" .... Wow I'm no longer doing business here if that's the way they handle simple communication inquiries. I highly recommend everyone NOT do business here. If you are looking for a more accommodating fast and affordable service go to this other location in Santa CA OC it's called CASA DEL SOMBRERO R&R WESTERN WEAR on 4th street... They don't charge extra fee for tickets. Your welcome.

This place is truly "little Mexico" wow! Their variety of delicious and authentic mexican food is outstanding. Every time I'm in town I can't go without visiting. They have it all.. carne asada, lengua, birria, barbacoa, chivo, pollo, and one of my favorites is carnitas de puerco. Superb!

Awesome place.. actually this is one of my growing up places saying hello to el patron standing by the door… please dont ever change your food how el patron started about 45 years ago if not more… i cant miss stopping by everytime i come back to my Santa Ana ..

Love coming to this meat market. Not just because of the prices but also the selectiona ane quality of meat cuts and items you cannot find at your local grocery stores. And next door you can by ready to eat meats, tamales, salsas, tacos and ready to eat entrees. You gotta try this place for the tacos. You haven't visited Santa Ana unless youve been to El Toro.
