I travel from Baldwin just to go here. Their prices are better than the stores closer to me and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Being a small family owned store is probably what makes it as good as it is. They only have 3 locations. They also have a coffee shop and clothing store on site as well. They have a wide variety of beef, pork and poultry and seafood(frozen or fresh. smoked and non) with their own onsite butcher. You'll also often find a small section of some varying wild game available too. There may be other things available I'm failing to recall. I think this place would definitely please the carnivore crowd. They also sell some things in bulk sizes too. There's a decent produce section. They carry a good amount of just about everything else one would need. They have a deli that also serves lunch every day they're open. They have good sales and a weekly deal when you spend $50 or more. Plus they include a coupon for the coffee shop every time you shop there.

ALLERGY alert!
I sometimes can find great deals at Ebels.
BUT, if you have Dairy allergies, most meats are smoked with milk/dairy containing product, so keep that in mind. Be careful on things package by Ebels. My son is "deathly" allergic to milk/dairy and bought some chicken bites and had a reaction. Double and triple checked the ingredients and no dairy was listed, nor did it say, "processed in a facility that..." which usually means less likely for cross- contamination.
We contacted them and was told they would look into it and get back with us regarding this issue. We reached out a few more times to follow-up and no response back.
I just wanted to be sure they were aware of the situation AND to correct it.
Also, could have offered a refund to return the product, as more than one bag was purchased.

I love this little gem of a store. First off, their clothing store is awesome. Great quality and choices. Second, their coffee shop attached to the clothing store is adorable! Great sugar-free drink choices, too. Third, the general store is equally great. Lots to choose from for foods and Great prices for meats!

I love going to Ebels stores, they have the best prices on just about anything you need and they carry great products in bulk at great prices. I highly recommend going to Ebels over Sam's club because you don't need a membership to get in and get their great prices and products.

Great deals weekly. You can buy bone in ribeye for about the same price as burger at other markets. I am grateful for them.

I enjoy stopping by Ebles General Store to check out their deli and stock up on jerky, meat sticks, and other to-go food items. They’re well-known for their meats and butchering, but when it comes to their main grocery products, prices are quite high—comparable to an IGA. Stick to the outside aisles to save some money, but venture down the center rows and you'll be looking at prices that are 3 to 4 times the average for basic consumer goods. If you time it right, you'll be served by some wonderful older ladies who truly understand customer service. However, if you're not so lucky, the younger staff can make you feel like you're more of a bother than a customer. Another note is that the store is closed on Sundays, which is inconvenient for working families. While I respect their values, it would be great if the store adapted to modern times.
