I've ordered firewood from Dunlap before without incident, but this year, they kept promising and failing to deliver, FOR 2 MONTHS. When the owner refused to give a reason or even to speak with me over the phone, I realized that they had no intention of delivering my wood I have no idea whey they kept me on the hook while all other sources of oak cordwood sold out. Now I have no wood to get through the winter.

Dunlap has done work for me on several occasions, repairing a fast dripping and installing a new bathroom vanity top and fixture. The work was done on time and as promised. Excellent jobs and no problems since (2017 & 2018)!

I purchased a supposedly demo unit of a cooks 52 in sawmill from these guys. It was advertised as like new, with a very small number of hours on it.

I found out after giving a deposit and showing up to buy the unit it was 4 years old, had no warranty and had been heavily modified to be mobile which made it near impossible to make it a stationary unit. The guide arms, guide wheel mounts were bent and had to be replaced, the wheel bearings on the head rollers rusted, and the entire lubricant tank was rusted out because they had been running water cut with antifreeze through it instead of diesel as the manufacturer specs - this last one is not repairable as its part of the frame. I’m $3000 and 4 months into repairing the unit and not done yet.

I don’t think he’s a malicious guy trying to screw anyone over but my god has this sucked.
