Again, amazing lamb meat. Their goat meat is not always available - but even better if possible at all….

The lamb is amazing! They sell Raw lamb here which is good to cook anything - stew, red braise, you name it. They also cook their own lamb, which is the best in town, in my opinion - not too firm not too soft, just right! And the flavor, omg!
To duck here is not Peking duck, it’s Cantonese style bbq duck, huge difference. It’s pretty good, a bit too fatty to my liking but it has authentic taste and good texture.
It’s understood that if you buy a duck, get the whole duck; if you get half of the duck, there’s not telling whether you get the good part of bad part. The review here reflects this: for those who get the good duck parts, they think it’s normal and don’t leave a review; those who get the bad parts leave nasty review. This is not fair. The duck is good. Get the whole duck.

After seeing some old reviews I felt a bit reluctant to try & i already had my ‘goto’ Roast Duck place … but for a roast duck tasting. Party we needed more ducks . after viewing some great looking ducks in the window, took one home & found it to b the tastiest ducks of the 4 we got

Hello all, it's SpenDoe again! I'm back with another review of a "hidden gem" in Chinatown, SF. It is always the small spots, that draw my attention. The Peking Duck hanging in the window, was also why I first decided to step inside Duk Hing Chinese Deli & Meat. This place is truly a staple in the community. With Covid19, and the many restrictions, it is often difficult finding open eateries in certain areas. I must say, the staff has always been friendly, and attentive to my needs. I understand that sometimes, you might feel rushed. Please don't take this personally, as the staff work as quickly as they can, to meet the requests of all who enter this amazing place. I am a big fan of Peking duck, and this is why I frequent Duk Hing. I don't consume pork anymore, but I can highly recommend it to those who consume. If you are in the San Francisco area, and could go for some good food, give them a try.

I ordered a whole duck to-go, and only found out to be not the case - they cut the duck and boxed with bad pieces from different ducks and took away legs, breast piece. Only found out when eating at home. Why cheats customers like that? Unbelievable, and damaging the credibility of the China Town. Shame on you!

After 3:30pm the Roast pork on sale, good price. It is half price compare to the price in Sunset & Richmond district. Taste is very good also, but you need to know which part of pig to buy! I normally get the park under the head or the ribs.

make sure you watch like a hawk when they chop and put in box. At Duk Hing this week (7FEB2023), I ordered half a duck $15 and they pulled out a box from behind the counter. When I opened it, was scrap meat. No breast meat, no wing section, all boney pieces, and two butts.
