We had a wonderful time here! Thanks to Sam for a fun and educational conversation about climates and clones, and to the whole team for making some truly excellent wine. We left with half a dozen bottles and a plan to return in March for their Gamay release.

Donnachadh Family Wines came highly recommended by some friends of ours and we were excited to explore it on our next trip to Los Olivos. It's a nice little room and our pourer, Sam was excellent! Very friendly an knowledgable! The wines were of good quality, but didn't kick my butt. I preferred the wines at their sister winery Storm (and even more so, go to our favorite Holus Bolus around the corner)... but when you go to Los Olivos, you're never looking to taste at just one place... so definitely give Donnachadh a try!

We absolutely enjoyed our visit on Sunday afternoon September 15 with Sam in the tasting room. She was very courteous and knowledgeable and made us feel at home with our dog as well. The wines they make are all excellent, and the service and hospitality in the tasting room is truly unique: attentive, personal and informative in a way that makes the wine taste even better!

It’s pronounced “Don-nuh-kuh”. Great Burgundy inspired Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The tasting room itself is cozy and welcoming. Sam was very hospitable. Give this vineyard-winemaker a shot!
