Very friendly local restaurant. Staff was very welcoming to everyone that came in. Got the Ironwood burger, and white cheddar cheese curds.
Curds were amazing and the burger cooked to order and seasoned great.
Also had the Northern Lights cocktail. It was good, but in my opinion could have used a little more sweetness, but still good.

Note that the menu seems to change a bit, so the photos will not always be accurate of what's available. But if my burger was any indication, you won't go wrong with anything.

We decided on a whim to have dinner for the first time at Don and GG’s last Saturday night. We are so glad we did. The steak was cooked to perfection, the pasta was so good! The drinks were great! Best of all the service was fantastic!! Having just moved from a big city we were missing options that extended beyond burgers and pizza. We absolutely found it here and we’ll be back soon!

Had dinner here with my wife. She jokingly said, "Low lights and cheesecake. That's a date!" All the food tastes homemade. The homemade turtle cheesecake was an extraordinary finale.

Loved it! Got vegan gluten free FISH FRY!

They take allergies super seriously and have vegan, and or gluten free options clearly marked on they menu!

Staff were also so friendly and supportive for both findung us accessible seating and getting us safe food! A must for people who like good food and need allergy or disability help at a restaurant!

Shout out to the people working Friday April 4 2025. We did not catch names we are confident enough to put in this post but the people who helped us were amazing!!

Come here! The food is outstanding...Super fresh and homemade! It is quite different from the "old" Don and GG's as this owner has taken it beyond bar food and beers. Steaks, pastas, sandwiches, fish, salads and daily specials...all are exceptional. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Nice choice of beers and delicious cocktails! Don't miss it.

Took ONE HOUR to receive take-out food (was at the restaurant for 1.5 hours total). Decided to place food order and have a drink while waiting for the food. 35 minutes after the order was placed (when food realistically should have come out by then), we were informed that they were out of the main product for one of the dishes (vegan fried fish). Bummer... was offered a sweet potato burger instead (which was not on the menu). Took another 25 minutes for food to come out after then. Toward the end of that wait, we were given a complimentary salad with poppy seed dressing for the two adults and fries for the kid, which was quite kind. When we received the food order, it was actually quite good. The sweet potato burger (which was a homemade patty mixture of many things) was handmade and quite good. I wish I had known the handcut fries were unsalted before leaving with the food so I could add salt, but if I had received the requested ranch, that could have helped too. There was also a piece of plastic wrap or wax paper in my burger, but who even cares when you're that hungry. Chicken tender app was good for the kid (had added fries for $3, but since she had just received a complimentary portion, she didn't eat them). Other person in the party ordered the 3-piece haddock meal, and the fish was very good, breading was great, and it was cooked perfect. However, received fries instead of the requested baked potato (the dish had choice of potato) and did not receive the coleslaw it should have come with. Overall, the food was good, the staff was nice, and the atmosphere was good (the patio looked quite enjoyable). But the wait time was prohibitive. It was 8pm, so it was after the dinner rush, and it wasn't all that busy in the the grand scheme. There were many tables open in the inside dining area. Three other parties around us that were there just as long or even longer waited as long as we did to receive their food, so we were not just an isolated event, and it seems like things were missed with their orders. I do understand short staffing issues (if that was the issue? - it was never discussed) and it sounds like the new owner took over the business 9(?) months ago, so I don't want to discourage anyone from visiting the restaurant especially considering so many other positive reviews, but I can't speak on the establishment other than my personal experience. Though I won't say we will never be back, it is not going to be any time soon.

Stopped here on our way back home. Great family atmosphere eatery. All the food was prepared fresh and delicious. I had the Gyro. My wife had the Po' Boy fish sandwich made with fresh perch filets. We also had the Bang bang shrimp for a appetizer. Service was fantastic. Would highly recommend if you're passing through the area!

We picked up a to go order on fish fry Friday ( also Valentine's Day) it was packed! Line out the door! Every single one of the front of house was excellent even under so much pressure. They were kind and courteous but also , they moved so fast. We waited a little longer than expected but even with the wait , the food was incredible! They really know how to cook a burger!
