I stopped by Curry Cantina during their grand opening around 5:30 p.m., and the place was packed! It had a lively, fun vibe with a DJ playing music—definitely on the louder side, but it added to the energy. They have a bar serving drinks off to the side and an outdoor patio, which is a nice touch.

Ordering food was a build-your-own concept, similar to Chipotle. You get in line, place your order, and work your way down, choosing your protein, rice, beans, and all the fixings. It’s a simple and efficient setup, making it easy to customize your meal.

For food, I ordered the tandoori chicken bowl and the butter chicken quesadilla, both of which sounded amazing. As a big dessert lover, I couldn’t resist trying all four or five of their sweet options—they looked too good to pass up! I took everything home to enjoy, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was really cool.

They even had an Instagram influencer there, which was a fun surprise! The staff was friendly and mentioned they had been busy all day—which is expected for a grand opening. I move around the area often, so having a spot like this where I can grab a meal to go is definitely a plus. Looking forward to coming back again!

Pros & Cons

✅ Pros:
- Plenty of seating – indoor, outdoor, and freestanding at the bar.
- Lively atmosphere with music and a fun vibe.
- Friendly staff despite the grand opening rush.
- Easy ordering process – Chipotle-style setup for quick customization.

❌ Cons:
- Limited parking– might be tough to find a spot during busy hours.
- Restroom situation– only one was working, leading to periodic waits.
- No printed menus– only an overhead menu, which can be hard to read. A paper menu or even a lower-mounted digital screen that scrolls through menu options would make ordering easier.

It's good. It's like a chipotle. Don't put add too many toppings though, cause you won't taste the flavors of the butter chicken or the paneer! The music was too loud and not fitting for the Indian/Mexican theme. Lots of "N" words and foul language in the music. Play some pop Mexican or Indian music. Oh, they have horchata and jarritos. I'll come back and try the other dishes another day. The menu is a little confusing but take your time and try something new.

Highly recommend this restaurant if you love Mexican and Indian food. Amazing food and they do not skimp on portions. It’s a great price and the food is top quality!

I liked the unique offering, Indian and Mexican cuisine. I’ve never fused them before. The food was great, and you get a big bang for your buck. I thought the music was too loud to have a comfortable conversation while eating.

Not a drinker but I am a foodie and it slapss. 😋 Couldn't find a menu on their site or insta but deffo try it, its worth every penny. The atmosphere is so aesthetic. Shout out to the two gents who helped me out for my first time. 🫡

My experience at curry cantina was good. The atmosphere is great. We met talibelico and I tried a mix of food and a mix of drinks. I had so many alcoholic drinks that night but all I got to say is that I had a good time. I will definitely be going back.

Perfect blend of two of the most flavorful foods! Finished my food so fast and got more. Karan is a great guy and he runs a great establishment. Need one of these in Fresno ASAP!!!
