The first time I tried Cultured kombucha was years ago. I think it was at the Midland MI vendor flee market. It was so good and I took a business card home to Indiana. At another vacation trip to Cadallac, I found it there too and you can bet I bought more. It is so tasty and I look for the ones with low sugar. Great product and now I just found it at Meyer that is close to me. I am so thrilled!

LOVED! Such good kombucha and fun seasonal flavors. They have a seasonal banana bread flavor they NAILED it was so good. Recommend stopping in on your way into/out of TC.

TLDR: Kombucha is absolutely delicious and employees are great to chat with. Location and taproom hours aren't great.

Don't let this place's location scare you away. Cultured Kombucha (CK) was my gateway kombucha back into the world of booch after being scared away by some extremely acidic kombucha many moons ago. CK had about 10 flavors on tap and they all of the ones I tried were delicious--spiced pear was my favorite. The girls working had a great sense of humor and gave me great information about CK and kombucha in general. I will definitely be using the product locator on their website to find places to purchase bottles as well as to refill my howler with on-tap product.

However, 10AM-2PM isn't great for those who want to visit the taproom for on tap product and the location is outside downtown in a random unsuspecting business park. I almost didn't go in because the door for the taproom wasn't well marked and looked like an employee entrance. I'm happy to have taken the risk to open that unmarked door, try their product, though, and chat with the employees.

LOVE Cultured's Kombucha! I enjoy their creativity with their flavors. I have had gut issues since I was a child and have been searching for a kombucha I actually enjoyed drinking. Added bonus to support a small business at the same time.

Cultured Kombucha was the first taste of Kombucha I had ever tried and got me drinking something new and better for my gut! The owner knows a whole lot about organic sourcing and can describe all the great benefits her product offers. Always excited to see this in new places, especially small local spots like the Keweenaw Co-Op!

Best kombucha!! I make a special trip across town just for refills and try new flavors. Even the ‘basic’ is complex and amazing! Consistently delicious and carbonation is just right! I love their flavor combinations and hope to see more locally sourced profiles... spruce tips, sumac, elderberries, cherry-rhubarb If you need a taste tester, count me in! I smile when I spot their distinctive bottles at local vendors/groceries, even though I prefer refilling form the source! Thanks for adding diversity to TC’s “craft” scene!

I love this kombucha! It's woman owned and she's gracious with her brewing knowledge. I've taken kombucha classes led by Courtney and made my own for awhile but now that I live closer to the facility it's been convenient for me to purchase through them. I get growlers filled or buy products by the case. Always a great experience in the taproom. My entire family and office is now hooked on this amazing booch too! I think the photo speaks for itself. Give it a try!

They do a great job here. The Kombucha is brewed to a good sweetness (or lack thereof) level. Many the flavors are great too. Great job ladies.
