They have been a disappointment.I have had Critter Busters for at least 4-5 years. When they were hired, I had lush plants and ground cover. Today, there is almost no ground cover, fewer plants, and destroyed soil. I've had to bring in new soil and buy new plants at my expense. I'd add pics if I could; it's utter negligence. They change technologists often, so we have to train each new tech who shows up. They e let my dogs out of the yard several times. The last time this happened I lost one dog for two weeks and had to pay a $250 reward. The technician did nothing to help. When I called headquarters, they were rude and wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor. I believe the operator, Jared, is hostile and obnoxious. If the call was monitored, he would lose his job.

They don't always show up for appointments, and when they don't, we are still charged. Not fair, not equitable, and certainly a poorly run business.

Also, they sent me one bill, last year, asking me to pay to pick up black rat boxes. I called them about it at the time and the girl who I spoke to was going to ask the manager if he/she would waive the fee, since I had not been informed of this fee and it was not in my contract. I did not receive any communication about this for approximately 7 months until very recently.

During a recent phone call I was told that the fee would not be waived for picking up the rat boxes. I asked for copy of my contract because picking up the boxes was not in my contract and I wanted to review it again to double-check on that.  It indeed is not in the contract. When I pointed that out they changed their story and said that I owe them money for cancelling without a 30 day notice. It is very concerning to me that they're changing their story.

Furthermore, again, I did not hear anything from this company, after I originally contacted them about that bill that I received, for about 7 months. I did not receive an additional bill, I did not receive an additional call until about a week and a half ago when I received a call regarding a past due amount.

Additionally, I just received a bill for what they say is the past due amount plus a finance charge, which I have no idea what this finance charge is about, as well as a past-due finance charge tacked on to the bottom. None of these finance charges have been previously stated to me and I'm not quite sure how I could have accrued a finance charge of any kind since the company never returned my phone call for about 7 months and also has not mailed me any sort of a statement for that same amount of time.

I had a rat problem in my house, so the first thing I did was yelp a bunch of pest control services near my area. I found a bunch, and called up a few others before choosing Critter Busters. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful service they have provided me with. Not only are they fabulous with their service, but they also have better and cheaper prices than their competitors. Since the they came to service my house and caught 5 rats in the attic, there have been no signs of rats in or near my house. I called them up the same day I found rats and got serviced on the same day as well (which is remarkable these days!). Since then, they always came by every 2 weeks to do a routine inspection and fill my bait stations around the house and perimeter of my property (I back up to a canyon in Woodland Hills). I'm not trying to sound like an advocate, but honestly after dealing with pest control services like Orkin, Critter Busters tops the charts. Very friendly people that know what the heck they are doing. Thank you!

Dave was referred to me by the director of maintenance at Sherwood Country Club and has worked with us on keeping our property pest and gopher free for well over 5 years. Everyone on his staff seems to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We live in the hills and our property borders open space, which is perfect for gophers and have seen a huge decrease in activity. They are always fast to respond when activity hits and come out reliably every two weeks to inspect and treat for any new gopher migration. They also check our bait boxes for rat activity and spray the house monthly for bugs. I'd recommend their monthly pest control services for rats, gophers, and bugs to anyone with pest control problems (I haven't had one ant in the house since we signed up) .

We had a gopher problem & I called a number of places getting only a machine until I called Critter Busters. The lady I spoke with was very pleasant & told me someone would call me back within a few hours. To my surprise Lee called me back within moments. He explained what services they provide, answered all my questions & we set up an appointment for later that week. When he came out he was extremely professional & pleasant. He explained what he was doing & was able to keep working while answering my family's questions about pests. I have to say that Lee's knowledge & professionalism were extremely refreshing as most companies/employees are greatly lacking these. I highly recommend this company based on my experience with Lee & will be using them for any pest issues I have moving forward.

This was the first pest control company where a person answered the phone . They gave me two possible scenarios and a quote over the phone. There was no car in the driveway pricing. The guy came and gave me an honest proposal without trying to scare me into a huge service. Yesterday they captured 9 rats in our garage and borded up all the suspected entries. Tonight is the first night in two years i havent heard noises in our attic. They didnt over promise but exceeded expectations. I was honestly embarrassed about our problem and the rep educated me to the fact that richer areas actually have more problems with rats due to rich and heavy vegitation especially with the wetlands backing up right to our commo area fence. Definitely recommend thier rat control services to anyone needing to evict unwanted guests.

This is one of the most professional companies i have used . They get the job done they are knowledgeable, professional and friendly and prices are fair . I ve used there services twice in the past few years and i wouldn t hesitate to call them again .
