Of all the Farms we went to in the great state of Michigan, this is my kids absolute Favorite. Real hands on learning experience, fun for the whole family. Fun experience, they also have a little shop which is cool to buy souvenirs. The staff is super nice and helpful. The whole farm and the bathroom is super clean. Highly recommended, will definitely buy the family membership for the whole year.

Always an absolutely amazing time! Especially in the spring during baby animal season. 🤩🥰🤩 They do a great job keeping things tidy and tons of hand washing stations. Lots of hands on opportunities for all ages to bond with the animals.

Visited as a chaperone for my daughter's field trip.

Parking is somewhat limited if you come during a busy time. You pay at the gift shop, where they also have shirts, stickers, stuffed animals, goat milk soap, hunny, salsa, and more. It was $8 for my entrance fee.

Within the space, there are tons of barns, a picnic area with tables, an educational area, and a play area with sandbox, hoola hoops, and games. The barns contain animals that you can touch/pet/feed and learn about. My kiddo enjoyed the chick, rabbits, and pigs.

Overall, it was a really fun and interactive experience and I'm hoping the kids will remember it for a long time.

Our family is from outside the state and visited the Critter Barn spontaneously after deciding to stay in the Holland, MI area an extra night.

The website advertises the facility as a truly accessible and inclusive place for all. We were so pleasantly surprised at how true to their word this is. It is like a giant petting zoo, and both our kids enjoyed interacting with the animals so much!

My elderly grandma and disabled son had no problem navigating the paved sidewalks and large barns in their wheelchairs to see all the animals. The staff and volunteers are equally accommodating. There were several young children helping the Saturday that we went. When we arrived to each station, they automatically would pick up the animals and bring them to our son. They were also knowledgeable about the animals and didn't shy away from sharing fun facts.

This is an incredible asset to the community, and we would love to support and visit more often if we were closer. It will definitely be added as a pitstop to our next Michigan visit.

Coolest family fun trip location ever! My daughter was absolutely elated when she got to pet the bunnies and hold the chick's. Everybody is so friendly and knowledgeable. We will keep coming back here for sure

We were here a couple weeks ago and had a really good time. It was the first time my son got to see a lot of the animals up close. You can tell the people working there care for the animals and that they aren't just an attraction. The staff were also really friendly! Would highly recommend to families wanting to get up close to farm animals.

This is such a great place to bring your little ones. Cows, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chicks, chickens, ducks, geese, etc. all which you can pet! Except for the birds. The cows and horses LOVE scratches. Just be careful your toddlers don’t surprise the goats 😅

Clean, hands on for kids & adults, animals are interactive and friendly, they treat the animals so well. They always need support to run the facility and care for the animals but don’t push it on you.
