I placed my first order hoping that I was going to love this. 3 Days after I ordered I received a shipping notice. However, 10 days after this, there has been no update to the shipping information, I have not received any product, and after multiple attempts to reach out to this company, they have not responded. They have however, taken my money. At this point, I cannot recommend Crio Bru as a company, because they appear to have just taken my money and, near as I can tell, they have no intention to fulfill my order.

I admit I fell for a good marketing campaign that appeared in my Instagram feed - must have been subliminal messaging or something! Product arrived as described, however, their marketing points are misleading (if not downright false). First off: it does NOT "brew like coffee" - it needs to steep 6-10 minutes and be stirred in-between. It then needs to be strained with a special appliance (you can't use a paper cone because of the fat content). IT TASTES BITTER. And they claim that it's packed full of nutrients, when research indicates many of those are diminished, when the product is roasted. I contacted them about a return - it's not returnable once opened. I've got a $32 bag of dirt, here.

I have brewed this beverage in a regular coffee pot and the results were terrible. No matter what I did it came out watery. My best results so far have been achieved using my single cup black and decker. Each cup comes out rich and flavorful. 2-3 tbsp of coco brew for every 12-14 oz water. Sometimes I will do 50/50 mix with coffee for a mocha for extra energy to start my day.

The product itself is absolutely wonderful. I am a lifetime buyer for sure. But they advertise all over their communications that orders "typically ship out in 1-3 days" and this is an absolute lie. It takes over a week for a shipping label to be created then it gets shipped out at the end of the week. So for someone like me who lives in Las Vegas and knows that an order from southern California should arrive in less than 48 hours, having to wait two weeks when they advertise speedy delivery is not ideal. It's a false promise.

The other thing that kinda grinds my gears is that the nutrition label clearly states 0g fat, but that is just a blatant lie. After making a cup of crio bru you will see a small amount of oil floating on the top. And guess what, those are fatty acids. But that's what coco butter is: fatty acids. They're naturally occurring healthy fats in coco beans, just like an avocado. So the main take away with this point is to not always trust nutrition labels and do your own research.

I am waiting for my product also which I bought through Amazon. Thank God Amazon has a good refund policy or I would be out of $~16. Supposedly shipped Jan 31, 2023. Here it is February 10, 2023 and no joy! Poor, poor service.

Personally this company has changed my life. This drink has powers. I drink this right after breakfast and lunch because it is an appetite reducer, I don’t drink after dinner bc it would keep me from falling asleep. Sometimes I’m feeling still hungry after my healthy lunch? Boom hunger gone. Please try this if you are dieting. If I need energy boost to keep me out of a post lunch lull works great (although I am sensitive to both theobromine and caffeine). Pro tip drink with sown oat creamer.

I am not a coffee drinker, but I really enjoy the experience of this drink. Like an adult version of hot chocolate. The after taste is similar to the after taste of a piece of good chocolate that has melted in my mouth!

I love Crio Bru...a mature version of Hot Chocolate without all the sugar...i find a French Press to give the best results.

So good. Whether in a coffee maker or a French press. I don’t love it plain because I like it to be sweeter, but with a splash of creamer it’s amazing.
