Great wine. Poor service. They did not seem happy that we were there. The guy with a chipped tooth seemed more interested in his Instagram than serving us. I liked the idea of organic wine and it tasted great but probably won't go back because the service was so bad.

Drove two hours to escape the fires.. arrived at 4:50pm (door open) to grab a couple bottles of wine on our way up to Avila beach. Lazy guy working turned down the sale because he said they closed at 5pm. Thx for the hospitality. We’ll avoid this place indefinitely.

Coquelicot was my favorite in the area not only for the wine but the service (s/o to Luke who I couldn’t say enough great things about). I did both tasting menus and every single wine was incredible. We purchased a few bottles to go but the Rose and the Pinot were my favorite! And Luke was a wealth of knowledge and I cannot wait to visit again.

SUCH an amazing experience.
(+) Wines are really good! The Mon Amour series is awesome. As are the estate wines, cab franc, merlot， and CS specifically.
(+) Our wine person was amazing and so nice. Forgot to get his name, but he had sparkling blue eyes and had worked at Coquelicot for about three years. Owners if you see this, please give him a raise.
(+) Nice outdoor seating with coverage and heaters. Dog friendly.

Definitely coming back next time I'm around.

Love this wine tasting room!! Our server, Tyler, was a great host with a lot of knowledge on their wine. This wine was SO good. Very refreshing on a hot day - this place does not disappoint!
