I had an excellent stay at the Fremont, Ohio Comfort Inn. The hotel was exceptionally clean and had a fresh, updated feel. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. While the shower/tub combo showed some signs of wear, it was spotless, as was the toilet. ||The room was well-equipped with plenty of USB-A outlets, reflecting a modern and convenient setup. ||Breakfast was a standout. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the sausage links were well-prepared—neither overdone nor dried out. The tables were consistently clean, and the breakfast staff was attentive and clearly knowledgeable about food service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. ||Both the evening and morning staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. ||This Comfort Inn ranks among the best of the brand. While the rate is slightly on the higher side, it is likely still more affordable than the nearby Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. The location is convenient, with plenty of nearby restaurants and fast-food options. ||I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and well-managed stay.

My family and I stayed at this hotel. My husband, sons, and I went to Port Clinton for a fishing trip. We caught a few fish along the harbor, and we had a great time there. | This hotel has an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, and hot tub. Also, breakfast has a variety to choose from, and the service is excellent. The hotel is close to a Walmart, a Marshall, a Dollar Tree, fast food, etc. Nice hotel. We had a great time.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. If we ever have to stay in Fremont again, we would stay here. They are dog friendly (with a $25 fee - other sites state there is no fee but their website says this) which was fine. HOWEVER I would absolutely request to not stay in room 318 - which another guest also wrote a review about. Not sure who decided putting a room SO close to the elevator was a bright idea, but it’s definitely one of the dumbest. Someone came up the elevator around 2:30am with a metal cart and woke both my husband and I up. It was really too much work by then to change rooms, and my husband and I were both exhausted from driving all day. So we put some ear plugs in and turned the fan up full blast to drown out the noise. Toilet ran occasionally (not constantly) and shower was great.

30 mins from Kalahari is not bad at all when its a packed con weekend with every hotel close full. Room was incredibly clean I felt totally safe and good in it. I work at a hotel too so im extra deep checking. Service was great the morning girl was always when we were checking out.

We reserve the room here because of all of the positive reviews we saw however this will not be a positive post. Upon arriving a little after 4:00 p.m. we were given the absolute worst room in the entire hotel. Room 318 is directly next to the elevator so close to the elevator that everyone trying to push the button touched our room door. As there were a number of people on the 3rd floor the Bell from the elevator went off Non-Stop. As if that wasn't enough the toilet in the bathroom ran all day and all night. Last but certainly not least the shower head in the bathroom was broken and sprayed water everywhere. The carpet in this room also smells bad. The head of the bed is lower than the foot of the bed. We will never stay here again.

Now home in NY, I fondly recall my 3-week stay at Comfort Inn, Fremont, OH. Spotlessly clean, fresh new-building scent in room 313. Welcoming staff, delicious 6-9 AM continental breakfast, and convenient laundry service made my business trip a pleasure. Highly recommend this hotel!

I had the worst experience me and my family were here to enjoy our time but instead we had witnessed a housekeeper treated very bad. i should say racism mostly knowing that all white people work there but there was this brown skin girl she was awesome did her job sad to see her get fired for no reason. We will not be coming back at all.

The room was perfectly clean, and had the basic accommodations. The staff was excellent; Jasmine went out of her way to help me with paperwork I needed to get done, but didn’t have the hardware to do. She also warned me that the room I got was beside the elevator, so it could be noisy, but I accepted that risk. The noise wasn’t bad to me, but your mileage may vary. The point being, she was conscientious about what she was offering, which I greatly appreciated.

Location is great. Hotel was nice minus a few things. There was a pacifier left in my room and a dirty wash cloth left in my mom’s room. If you get in late and are planning on sleeping in, or if you’re just planning to sleep in, in general, be forewarned you will not get that luxury because housekeeping will most definitely wake you up in the morning. We stayed 3 nights and it was an every morning occurrence. They were slamming doors, blaring music, having extremely loud conversations, banging around. They were so incredibly loud. I’ve never stayed at hotel (and I’ve stayed at a lot) where there was an issue with housekeeping being so loud. Usually you’ll leave your room for the day and they’ll be going about their business cleaning and you’d have no clue they were even on your floor. That was not the case here. It was ridiculous. I also overheard a conversation housekeeping was having in the hall, I mean they were talking loud enough there’s no way you wouldn’t have heard them, about how if a bed looks barely touched, they won’t change out the sheets. I wish I wouldn’t have heard that tidbit of information because that’s disgusting and makes me never want to sleep in a hotel bed ever again. I question everything now. My mom brought that up at checkout and the one lady was very nice about it but the one guy was rude. Couldn’t tell if he was mad that the staff said that or if he was just being rude to my mom. Either way didn’t really like his attitude.
