Great place for apply picking & pumpkin patch. They also have a really nice cafe that serves yummy breakfast. It’s nice and quiet there for breakfast and you are surrounded by plants and Fall decor now. All staffs there are friendly and helpful overall. The merchant store has tons of interesting stuff so do check it out. It’s my second visit and this time I spent few hours to there and get to explore more and I would love to go back again! The Hemme Brothers cheddar selling there is a must try item. We picked lots of Jonagold Apples this time and they are sweet and crispy

What an absolutely incredible nursery and garden center! My husband and I are new to Blue Springs and decided on our way home to stop and check it out. They have a Beautiful courtyard, where you can sit and have a meal and drink. We just so happened to stop on a night that they have live music 6-8pm through the season. There are plants and trees galore, plus they have fresh, produce and a freezer section with meats for purchase. I will definitely be back time and time again!

We fell in love with the gardens the moment we walked in!! Now we try to visit 2 or 3 times a month. We love the large assortment of plants, flowers, herbs, succulents, and trees. I have a yard full of plants and flowers we bought at the gardens and even bought our 1st banana tree here. We recently took the grandkids to the Butterfly Festival (pics) and had a blast. Will be attending the Fairy Garden class at the end of the month!! We love waking up on the weekend and going for breakfast at their farm-to-table cafe! Then walking around and taking in the beautiful scenery. So much to do!!! This is a gem of a place and will be spending much more time doing very affordable events in the future. We will be grabbing a basket and picking our own fruits and berries very soon. The events are kid-friendly and cater to the kiddos with their playground and petting zoo. Don't forget to visit the chickens in the tree nursery and the alpacas by the playground. It was hot for our adventure but the ride through the orchard on a military vehicle put wind on our faces. The vehicle is loud so caution to the kiddos with noise sensitivity, but wasn't so loud that it ruined our ride. I could go on and on but will stop for now. So don't wait any longer, hop in the car and go for a visit, or get online and check out the upcoming events. Have a blast, I know we did and will for years to come!!! Thanks, Colonial Gardens for giving my family lots of fun, adventure, and much-needed time together!! 5 stars from this family( 10 stars really)!!

Fun day going to Colonial Garden’s fall festival and pumpkin patch. We got to do a livestock tour and it was pretty fun and very informative. They also have apple picking, berry picking, pumpkin picking, and wildflower picking! Pretty cool!

Well, it's winter here, and it's just so nice to go into a greenhouse and breathe in the nice greenhouse air!!! Yes, it's a great place during the summer as well as great selections to choose from. I get a lot of my perennial plants here as they have so many of the pollinators selection that I like, and I have had great success keeping them alive. I didn't get any pics, but they do have a huge selection of trees to pick from as well.

They also have started doing a small tasting spot in the garden, which is life. A small area to buy some honey, wine, fruit, etc....

Across the street, they started doing dine with alpacas, which I haven't done but looks like fun.

We held my deceased aunt’s celebration of life ceremony and their garden space which was lovely. We could even bring our own food to share with our guest.

Beautiful place to walk around and enjoy all the living things. They have a nice area for lounging and visiting, sometimes live bands play. The ambiance is warm, relaxed, and inviting. I've been here on a romantic date with the hubby where we enjoyed a live band, walking around with some cocktails during 'Sip and Shop'. I've also visited with my girlfriends during events such as 'breakfast with the Llamas' ? ? Right now, they have decked their halls, and those poinsettias are gorgeous!
