Whoever designed this casino/hotel should be the asked to design them all. I love the architecture of this building. The rooms are terrific! I must admit, this hotel is pretty damn classy. The casino is very nice, employees are friendly. This was my second time here and I didnt pay attention to these details the first time, but I really walked around this place and love its decor and cleanliness. Although the pool was closed (winter), i could see how the pool area would be a great hangout, plus there is a bar at the pool too. I do think however that the drinks are a little pricey, but oh well, the place is brand new. I'm definitely going back, very impressed.

This is a review for the casino, not hotel.

The new games are terrible. You just can't win unless you spend a lot of money. Like hundreds of dollars.

The old machines are so much better, you can spend less, gamble longer and was more fun. The new machines take huge bets and your money is gone in a few minutes.

We will go back to Black Oak instead even though it's farther away. They have better games, it's more fun, and they actually allow you to win!

Also, the owner posted on another review about contributing to the community and making the road better. They put a huge roundabout in the highway. No one asked for this or wanted it. The entrance should have been where the original entrance was.

Spent two nights for my mother's birthday. The resort employees were all top notch. The building is gorgeous wroth lots of natural light. I was so happy to find that the new casino is non smoking. Our room was a wheelchair accessible room which was really nice. The view from our room was absolutely stunning. I wish I could have spent more time on the balcony.

My biggest complaint is that in the room, there is a smoke detector, high on the wall that has a flashing indicator light. Every 6 seconds there is a flash. If you have light sensitive sleep issues it's maddening. It is not noticeable during the day but ridiculous at night.

The tablet that is in the room, that is being used as a clock and information point, kept going to full brightness multiple times. I finally hid it in the night stand drawer. I turned the brightness down multiple times and the next night found the power button.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by John at Perch Rooftop Dining, and I can confidently say he provided an experience that exceeded all expectations! From the moment we sat down, John’s warm demeanor and attention to detail made us feel like VIPs.

He went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Whether it was his expert recommendations on the menu or his impeccable timing in checking on us, it was clear that he genuinely cared about making our evening unforgettable.

I would hire John as my personal server in a heartbeat! His passion for hospitality is evident, and I wish I could enjoy service like his everywhere I go. If you have the chance to dine at Perch, be sure to request John — you won't regret it!

This is an elegant, new (opened 2024), hotel/casino resort. Easy access off SH 108 in Jamestown. Spacious resort, dedicated casino floor, several restaurants and bars, friendly staff, well-appointed and stylish hotel rooms. Multiple convenient parking options, and valet. Pool deck was closed when I was there (January). There’s a fine dining restaurant on 9th floor – The Perch – that advertises splendid views of the area but it wasn’t open when I was there midweek. My go-to hotel when in the area has been the Black Oak, but this is a new option which I will definitely be choosing again. Well done CRCR staff.

My BIGGEST complaint - YOU CAN'T SLEEP IN THE ROOMS BECAUSE THE SMOKE DETECTOR LIGHT FLASHING EVERY 30 seconds. How does this resort expect ANYBODY to be able to sleep when you have a bright strobe flashing in what is supposed to be a dark room? Worst yet, you call the front desk at 4am to have the issue addressed and there wasn't anybody on staff who could do anything about it.

My complaints - first- LOOSEN up those slots. There is no d*mn good reason why I had a handful of wins on slots across 7 hours of play. I also heard the same complaint from other players on the game floor that their wins were few & far in between. I don't expect to walk away from this place rich or in profit by any means as this IS a casino, but after a night of play - this place just felt like a giant rip off. According to CA state law , slot machines must pay out between 80 percent and 100 percent over the lifetime of the machine, and well I don't feel like this place is following that law at all. All 5 family members got skunked on this trip with few wins between us - Vegas gave us more wins than this place did less than 3 weeks ago.

45+ minute wait for food at 209 Eats. Front of house staff was VERY nice and courteous - the kitchen was slammed - perhaps they are going through growing pains still but 45+ minutes is way, way to long to wait after ordering.

Now for my pet peeve - THE TERRIBLE AI ART this place has on the wall. I find it hard to believe this place could not find any local artists to fill the spaces on their walls. Whomever selected or created these pieces did not do ANY kind of quality check on what the AI put out. the 4th floor image of the woman with the egg on her eye and you couldn't see the image artifacts from the AI process? With all the money this place generates, I am pretty dang sure they could afford to get local art (heck, even non AI art would do) on the wall.

Look - overall, not a bad experience but I will not be back UNTIL this place FIXES THE SMOKE DETECTOR ISSUE & loosens up the slot machines/increases the wins.

Nice new casino with a variety of slot machines. Like the fact that it's non-smoking. The drink servers came around often, which makes it nice. They have great eateries from Wahlburgers to Rooftop dining. Heard nice things about their hotel. Will have to come back & stay next time.

I would give this place a 0 if I could. Its a breeding ground to get your stuff stolen. People lurk around each corner waiting to pray on you. I got a grand stolen 3 doors away from the door and my phone. They told me they don't care and the security told me you want to talk shit? Unprofessional at its most. Pay outs suck. Called the top guy they said I watched it you definitely got your car busted open in there parking lot. Don't go hear the staff is rude and you will get your stuff stolen.
