We had a wonderful dinner! SO MANY CHERRIES! The pickled cherries were very interesting to try and the seasoning on the fries was unique. We sat outside and the gardens were gorgeous. The service was warm and friendly and we appreciated the hospitality. Our table had a burger, tacos, chili, and barbecue and they were all fantastic! And I swear even the water had a hint of cherry in it! Hope I get to go back someday! Lots more great things to try 🙂

Best restaurant I’ve ever been too. Honestly the server made the experience! Bella took care of everything and was so attentive and hands down was just on point! She got it to snow for us too! I got the pulled pork sandwich: DELECTABLE!

Great place to eat. Lots of yummy foods that all include some form of cherries! The service was really great. Love their burger and their pulled pork tacos. I also enjoyed their cherry cream soda. There's seats inside and outside.

We sat outside and the whole outside dining area is very pretty. The chips and cherry salsa was fabulous! I had the grilled cheese and seasoned fries. Both were very good! The wait was long but we were both given a piece of pie for our patience!

This establishment has great cherry inspired food and drinks. Keep in mind that to view the menu, order food, and close your tab, you must scan a QR code on the tables. The staff and our sever provided great customer service and were very friendly. There is lots of Seatting inside and out. Both with a great family-friendly layed back atmosphere. You can buy more Cherry Public House merchandise and exclusive food and drink items in the attached gift shop. There is even an ice cream booth on the back patio that sells their signature flavors. Overall, my group and I really enjoyed our visit and we think you will too!

Since I began planning my family’s vacation to the Traverse City area, I had Sleeping Bear Dunes and Cherry Republic in Glen Arbor as my top 2 places to visit. I was excited that a seat was available on a busy afternoon and was okay with the 1 to 1.5 hr wait once our food order was placed even ordering appetizers, because the menu items had products available for purchase incorporated and based on the number of people eating there and picking up take out, it had to be delicious food and worth the wait, right?! Wrong! All 3 items were not good - the pulled pork sandwich had the flavor and consistency of a sloppy Joe, the cherryaki chicken lettuce wraps were so small to be considered an appetizer and lacked any cherry or teriyaki flavoring, and the cherry chicken salad wrap while okay had no flavor except for the celery giving it a little flavor and a very minimal amount of cherries.

I gave the service 2 stars because the manager offered our dog some water and got him a take out dish to use as a water bowl. Also, we were able to get a good table in a corner. At the end of the meal, a server (ours changed several times) asked how our meals were and I was honest. When customers share honest feedback, it should be acknowledged and some type of service recovery should be done. The server just blamed the disappointing meal on the wait time, which was not the problem. If the food was good/great, we would have been okay with having waited. To have genuine feedback swept under the rug really goes to show the place is fine with attracting crowds and delivering poor service and low quality meals.

The Glen Arbor campus in general is good if you want to shop for Cherry Republic products and visit the winery and pop area, and aren’t there to eat. This place is a tourist trap. Such a disappointing experience on a first time visit to the area.

This was an amazing place to get a late lunch on a hot day. The kids had plenty of things to explore and room to roam, and the food was outstanding. The beer cheese is the best I've ever had. I got the cherry BBQ tacos and they were outrageously good and super filling - I got two and couldn't finish them!

I finally got to have lunch here!!! We shared the Public House Salad, which was wonderful.and loaded with all of the goodies. I also had a bowl of Whitefish Chowder that was also delicious. And the Black Cherry Cream Soda is delicious. Service was fast and friendly and the outdoor dining atmosphere is perfect. And if course afterwards we couldn't resist a slice of cherry pie and a cherry ice cream cone..
