I’m incredibly disappointed to have to write this review for a local well respected company. Chandler Electric quoted me 2.1K to install a solar inverter, electric fan, and two car chargers. The first day they showed up they sent a tech who couldnt do solar work, this resulted in another two week delay. The tech showed up (now one month since initial appointment) on time and started the install. After he completed the work and shortly after he left I realized the inverter wasnt working. I called Chandler Electric maybe two minutes after the tech left and asked if they could come back and double check the work.

The office connected me with Justin who immediately started blaming the inverter manufacturer and said to call them. So thats what I did. At the same time I also called a solar company to come double check the work.

The manufacturer guided me through everything and states they dont see any voltage coming off the panels. Thats odd I thought, I’ll investigate further. After the weekend passed I decided to get my multi-meter out and test the panel lines and lo and behold the polarity was reversed.

The panels were wired incorrectly resulting in potential panel damage and fire risk to my home. I called the office on this revelation who apologized and said Justin would call me. Well here we are and no call or contact.

Justin had the quick ability to communicate that the problem was with the inverter instead of taking two minutes to check basic wiring after his client paid thousands of dollars with the office two miles away but no ability to take ownership for their errors. Stay far away from them.

I received multiple quotes for a Generac install and Chandler Electric came in thousands cheaper than the next. Everyone I've dealt with in the company has been extremely personable and you can tell that they do these installs all the time as the process was the most polished home improvement project I've ever had done. They scheduled the inspection for the install and came back with a crew and had the whole thing knocked out in about 3 hours.

The purpose of this review is to highlight the many ways that Chandler Electric provided excellent customer service and support to achieve an optimum, cost-effective solution to our home generator needs.
We hired Chandler Electric to provide an upgrade to our original generator system. When we built our home in 2007, we put in place a 16 KW Generac unit wired to a single critical load panel. This was not done by Chandler and the resulting critical load panel did not have all the loads we required. We also decided that the ability to run our HVAC systems was a necessity not included in our original plans. Chandler surveyed our needs and developed a plan to feed all our needs and not require any re-wiring of our existing sub-panels. The simplest way to do this was to disconnect our present generator and install three new transfer switches. However, since PG&E has many power outages, I asked if they could keep the original generator in a working condition while they set up for the new 47 KW unit. This made wiring the new transfer switches much more difficult but the team accomplished that task. It also included running a new, larger gas line for the new generator, but keeping the original line pressurized until change-over. One observation that really pleased me was the effort by the technicians to due a very tidy routing of the new conduit. They also did a very complete job of labeling the new breakers and what they controlled. They also would clean up each night so the area stayed spotless. The techs also attached the box housing the lines from the generator to the house in a very attractive way that is non-intrusive to the eye. On the day that the cut-over to the new unit was done, everything worked perfectly, and I could not be more pleased. From system design to actually install, the team from Chandler Electric performed very well. The system works so well, we have had some power outages that we did not even know happened.
In summary, when considering a generator for your home, you definitely should select Chandler Electric for your project.
