So weird they had reviews turned off and were only allowing 5 stars to post all week… Very excited there are more places opening in Bakersfield. Maybe I’ll try this place again in a few months.. the pizza dough is soft and fluffy, beers on tap and a full bar. I would describe this more as a family friendly restaurant rather than a brewpub. We came in expecting beer and brew vibes… it was like every meme of kids over running a brewery. Now that I know that’s the vibe I can have different expectations. They were slammed from just opening and the server did a great job keeping up and checking in on us. The potato ball appetizer was almost good but idk if there are just raw jalapeños in it, the heat just hit you and over took the whole dish. I didn’t try the burger but it was a would not order again from 2 of us. The Cali pizza was a hit and the potato pizza was great. Glad we tried it, not gunna be in the regular rotation though.

Quick Summary
Food quality is pretty top notch for Bakersfield. Great ambiance and really liked the open kitchen concept and their pizza oven. Pretty easy parking in downtown with plenty of street parking

Food- 5 stars
Rib eye- this was perfectly cooked and really tender. Pretty competitive pricing too

Cali salad- pretty good salad especially during a warm day

margherita pizza- really good as it was freshly made in their pizza open

oxtail tortellini- this was good, but probably my least favorite of the night

Service- 5 stars
Servers were all pretty attentative despite the busy opening week

Bottom Line
Love the revitalization of Downtown Bakersfield with this new gem. Worth the hype with the quality food

Food came out at the same time for all my party! Server was very helpful in everything! Food was very good! Four cheese pizza with fig was a new twist I tried super good! Steaks are very good as well!! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Pizza was some of the best food I've ever had. Drinks were also good but a little inconsistent. My bf ordered a bee's knees during our first round of drinks and I ordered it the second round, mine had more lemon flavor and less honey than his (his was better). Vibes were fine, just a little loud in the main room at least. I just wish they didn't close so early.

The pizza is so good here! Stoped in for a quick lunch and it was great. Service was fantastic and man it was quick. Ordered the cali pizza and it was on the table in 5 min. Unfortunately didn’t try the beer, but it looked great. Would definitely recommend if you need a place to grab a quick lunch and have a fantastic pizza. It’s awesome to see all of these great restaurants downtown. The pizza is also large enough to share with a partner. This will be a go to spot when in downtown Bakersfield.

We waited for THE longest time for this place to finally open. Drove by countless times while they were renovating the interior. And it was totally worth the wait! The food is not your typical everyday pub fare. We've got way too many places in town that offer that sort of thing. The menu is chef inspired and everything we've ordered was SO delicious! Try the diablo shrimp pizza and the Triple B burger. You won't be disappointed

Crispy potato pizza is beyond this world, same goes for the diablo shrimp pasta.
I have never been an IPA drinker but the IPA HAZE they draft is so good.
Sangria isint bitter its refreshing as a sangria should be, my family and i love it here, 10/10 reccomend!!
