The place is fantastic! It's a wide open area for seating and plenty of it too.

The food here was fantastic! The pretzel appetizers was enormous and the entrees are very much german. The service was quick and the staff friendly.

I highly recommend the jagerschnitzel. You get a large breaded cutlet topped with a creamy and savory mushroom sauce that's enough for 2.

This is the perfect place for after-work or after a long week. Plenty of beers to choose from and delicious foods to pair with it.

Such a great place! Good food, drinks, and service! It is bar service, so be prepared for that but we’ve never had an issue. We lived in Germany and have been looking for a taste that resembles German beer and this is the closest we’ve come- get the original Weissbier; so good!

Came for the schnitzel & was not disappointed! I had it Northern German style (fried) & it was perfect. It wasn’t swimming in grease & the mushroom cream sauce was on point! The portion was big enough for 2, but I brought the leftovers home for lunch the next day😋We also had the cheese curds which were a bit different than usual but still really good!

Good food, good beer!
First time visiting and will be back. Ordering is a bit different. You need to order at the counter then find a seat (if you haven’t already) we sat outside as it was a perfect day to be outside. Food came out at a reasonable pace for how busy they were on s a Saturday at lunchtime.

First time visiting. Very "Gasthaus" vibe. Jagersnitzel was super good.. Cedar Melt was yummy..

One of the best restaurant experiences you can have.

Walk in, find a table, order at the bar, pay for your food, order more if you keep a tab open, leave when you’re finished eating and running some of the best tasting German food, what could be better!?’

We had the Jaggersnitzel and I saw another review recommend the Brussels sprouts. Wow! These plates were to die for.

I can’t want to go again.

I’ve been in twice now and this is just a really great brewer here in W. Michigan. I’ve had a few of the beers and they are all really good. The Hef is fantastic. Try the schnitzel as it’s pretty good. It’s an American version, but a somid recipe with good quality ingredients. The atmosphere is great, they have beer hall seating in the middle but also high or low top tables if you prefer. Bar seating too.
Find a seat, look the menu over, then go up and order at the bar. Food is fast and hot and, as I said, it’s good.
I’ll be cmback several times I’m sure.

What a fantastic place! If you are looking for a German experience come and try Cedar Springs Brewing out. The beer is brewed perfectly for the German style and the food, well it is just as good. From the schnitzel to the spätzle you will not be disappointed! The staff is friendly and always there to make your stay a great one! Come and see for yourself.
