So far I would say I am quite disappointed with CCOF. I have been working with them for about 2 years now I think.
For some bureaucratic reason I still don't completely understand, for one wine I submitted in January for our next bottling CCOF took several weeks after we paid rush review fees to finally raise obscure objections (which I still cannot comprehend), and they wouldn't promise when they would review our changes, arguing of a surge of requests, which meant that we had to give up last minute the logo and redesign a label without, after wasting many hours and hundreds if not thousands of dollars. It would have been worse if we had printed the label which thankfully we did not. We therefore also were late to the printer and had to pay late fees, and almost missed the deadline for the bottling.
Bureaucracy goes in the way of organic farming.
Very few if any at all of the CCOF workers ever farmed anything or did they?

All this place cares about is money. Fee after fee, charge after charge. God help you if you commit an error they will use that to extort more fees and fine you out of your certification. They don't care about organic farmers just getting the most cash out of your pocket.
