Love coming here! Every time there is a recall it never affects us! It's nice to get meat from one cow instead of thousands mixed in one pack. We buy a chunk and have the butcher make hamburger meat, stew meat, stir fry, roast and steaks! Great quality! Just wear a sweater or coat as you're walking into a cooler.

This place goes above and beyond for all customers. What an amazing experience today. Last minute shopping 2 days before Christmas dinner needed a pork shoulder butt that could feed all the family coming over for the holidays. Walking in was greeted by one of the employees asked if I was looking for something specific. Took me and my kids into a giant cooler just full of every kind of meat imaginable. Handed me a 20lb pork shoulder it was the exact same price as Krogers 10-12lb. Ended up picking up some steaks to throw on the grill tonight. This is my new go to place.

Excellent selection of fresh meats. You actually walk into a large refrigerator to shop for your meats, which are very cold but never frozen. Prices are very reasonable, especially compared to the retail grocery stores. They also sell a limited selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as other groceries... so you can also pick up some items to complete that meal. The only negative is that they only have one store and it is 20+ miles from me... so shopping there is a planned trip rather than a convenience!

This evening as I was shopping 🛍️ 🛒 at Cattleman’s I noticed that I am 📻 so used to vegan 🥗 🥑 🌱 foods that the red meat 🥩 that my family rarely eats was making me queasy at the sight of it. My nose 👃🏽 started running 🏃🏻‍♀️ cause it was freezing 🥶 buns in the cooler that I could see my breathe 🧘🏻‍♀️ I was not feeling social since I strangely felt like I was experiencing “morning sickness” 😷 I rushed out of there just to notice that I lost 😞 my iPod 📱 case and had to go back in. I did a quick scan and counted it a loss, however, Felicia who attended me said that she would do a double check real 👸🏻 quick and got down on her knees to find them under the steak 🥩 sirloin shelf. I couldn’t help but throw my arms around her out of appreciation for her kindness. I get on my knees daily in prayer 🙏🏽 but I was not about to get down on my knees in the freezer and I am so glad 😀 she went the extra mile for me. Kindness is a rare occurrence now in days. PLEASE 🙏🏽 GIVE HER THE RAISE AND RECOGNITION SHE DESERVES. My hands 🙌🏽 free 🆓 device would have been useless and a waste of my money 💸 if it wasn’t for her. THANK YOU 🙏🏽 THANK YOU ☺️ 😊

October 16th I made a stop at one of my favorite meat shops cattleman's meat never had an issue until today I always buy one of the bundles however today they sold me hamburger that was going bad when called to speak to the manager there he in turn tried to explain me oxidation of meat and it's fine it's not fine because I was not paying for discounted meat any other meat department store would have put this in the markdown section instead it was at the bottom of my box where I opened it up to put in freezer bags only to discover that there's browning all through the meat I can overlook this once incident however I do recommend that from now on everyone that shops at cattleman's meat pay attention to the dates in your bundles not a good look cattleman not a good look.
