SOLD US EXPIRED PRODUCTS MORE THAN ONCE. Bought meat from here and same day went to cook it and found it was spoiled had to throw away immediately. Another time sold us expired milk, another with sour cream.

I was really hoping for a turn around from the previous owners but there is not enough traffic in the store so the produce and meat are not fresh. I really wanted to buy something from them to help out the little guy but there was nothing worth purchasing that was fresh. I will try again to give them another chance. Hope that was just a bad day.

Holy frijoles this place is awesome! I just came home from my first visit there and the steak torta is so yummy. I crossed over to attached grocery store and grabbed some warm tamales and a large bottle of sangria soda which was so convenient. They were also very friendly and accommodating to this gringo. I’m going to go eat the rest of this now but I highly recommend this place if you want affordable and authentic Mexican food!

On the plus side, produce is usually fresh, potatoes are super clean, best I've seen in any Woodstock grocery store. Since new owners, less variety in canned goods, like canned tomatillos. That space was replaced by heated prepped food. Seemed dried out to me at mid day. Don't know who buys that stuff.

I go to this little place to get fresh authentic Mexican produce, its price fairly. The only thing I dislike about this place is that it is kind of hidden and you have to drive wind to get to it
