I purchased an iDig XD 611 2D excavator grade control system from Carleton Equipment on 8/7/24. Kevin Morrissey, the iDig specialist at Carleton, was very knowledgeable of the system and a great salesperson to work with. He came to my yard and installed the system on my Kobelco SK210LC excavator in just a few hours, and explained everything along the way. I was hesitant to purchase this at first, but Kevin did a great job of explaining the system and the features, and removed any doubt I had about it's capabilities. After being in the excavating business for 40 plus years, I can honestly say Kevin rates right up there with the best of them! Great service!

If I could give these guys a 10/5, I would. I rented a Bobcat T-66 for a week. Comparable pricing to the prior rental company i had used for the same size machine, but Kubota. Because they were so close to the site, I figured I would call and get a ‘real’ quote. Didn’t matter. It truly didn’t, because of the service, the way i was spoken to, and the actual follow through on expectations they set. Oddly enough, the price was damn near exact to their website and I added some protections.

I worked with John in rental. I cant say enough good things about him and the service he provides. I unfortunately had a tree branch come down on the corner, doing some solid damage to the cab. I was honest and let them know, but I was ready for a nice lashing. Truth is, if the cab wasnt there, I wouldnt be. I purchased the insurance and to my surprise, it only covers very minimal instances of damage, so i was informed that i may be on the hook for all of it. I am typically an angry person. This wasnt news I was expecting to hear. However, I felt taken care of. Im giving them terrible news about busting the skidder and John is reassuring me the whole time.

I call back after hours when i saw a VM from John saying he had the damage estimate (which pretty much told me I was on the hook) and John answers. Caught him just before walking out and was it an issue for him? Nope. No problem at all. Got everything looked up, gave me the invoice amount over the phone, explained the repairs needed, the damage they were able to find and the damage that belonged to prior renters they didnt even attempt to blame on me.

I dont care what it cost me to repair that cab, as i really do feel that i would have been crushed. What was weird to me was that it felt like John honestly felt that same way. Unforgettable rental experience. Costly. But I owe it and can’t believe i am sitting here writing this review excitedly waiting to pay it. All of that because of the exceptional customer service from the first phone call to the last. I cant recommend this store enough.

My 25-year-old Exmark finally bit the dust. As I was shopping around for a replacement, I discovered that all of the Exmark dealers wanted $12,000 and up for a comparable mower, and they were all high pressure and also tried to sell me a $2,000.00 "Parts and repair kit." If I purchase a $12,000 mower, why do I need a $2,000 repair kit to keep it running?

If I wanted "High Pressure," I would have gone to a car dealership!

I found Carlton's online but never considered Kubota; I didn't know they made zero-turn mowers.

The staff and sales process were exceptional. There were no high-pressure sales tactics.They were very friendly and polite. This mower cuts grass like I have never seen. It runs circles around the Exmark.

I would suggest that you give them a try. The price I paid was fair, and they delivered it promptly. I couldn't be happier, and they gave me a free hat!
