It’s a nice little stop to grab a quick bite, definitely a couple of bucks too much per person for what it is. $5.50 for a hot dog and $9.50 for a cheeseburger. I did buy this yellow Mackigan shirt for $20 that I really like and hadn’t seen anywhere else. Love the color and the font and it’s a great cut.

The reward for making it up and down Fort Hill, or the fuel to get you up the hill!

We kept it simple with soft serve ice cream and Vernors, but they were excellent. The View was unbeatable, and the staff were cordial and quick despite being busy. Worth the trip!

Enjoyed the refreshing break and our food items- ice cream, mozzarella sticks, soft pretzel purchased at the Cannonball Oasis. They have other items as well. Hot dogs. Hamburgers, chicken, side items and more.
Picnic table and plenty of grassy area to sit and enjoy your food.
Restrooms at Nature Center u just down the path.

Great spot for food or drink across from British Landing. Fun little pit stop while biking around the island. We took our soft serve ice cream to go.

The pit stop reward you never knew you needed until you got there via bike. The reward is mostly the view! Fried pickles were great. Pretzel was meh. Wasn't in the mood for ice cream from all the fudge in town, lol. I recommend the spot here, lots to see, especially on a clear and sunny day.

Got a soft pretzel ($6) and the famous fried pickles ($8.50). The pickles were indeed excellent - they were quartered spears, and the breading I believe had dill in it. Very tasty and juicy, not overdone or dried out at all. The soft pretzel was nothing to write home about, but the shop is an overall good stop at the halfway point (4 of 8 miles) of the 185 Lake Shore Loop on Mackinaw Island.

The location is absolutely beautiful! Ice cream was good, just wish they had more than soft serve available. If you are biking around the island this will be a must stop to take a break and cool down.

The food is soooo! good.
After walking 4 miles this is an Oasis.
Priceing is compared with other eating places on the island. Not to bad.
But they are the only ones on his side of the island.
