Not bad. The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. The service was great and friendly too. The food was also delicious. I got the shrimp fajitas with corn and flour tortillas and those were spot on. I also got a side of queso and figured it came with chips. When the order came out though, I had to go pay extra for some chips. Wish those would’ve been included. All in all I think it’s a great place to stop by for lunch.

The staff at Calixto are always very nice and attentive. The food is affordable and tasty. My partner and I love the hibiscus water, all the different tacos, and the burrito bowl (I usually ask for a tortilla/ edible bowl) but if we had a favorite menu item it'd be the quesabirria!

Great experience at this restaurant! The food came out quickly, and everything was fresh and delicious, especially the tacos. Enrique was friendly, attentive, and made sure all the guests were well taken care of. Highly recommend for great service and great food!

3/25 consistency; this place, never disappoints. There are two taco places, relatively new to the area, closer to my house and I think this place beats them- again, when everyone seems to charge almost the same price, you have to go with quality and service-
We work too hard for our money to throw it away to places don’t have good customer service or who don’t have food that is good quality and delicious-I want the most bang for my buck and this place delivers!
Best street tacos in the area (I wish they had Barbacoa), the best nachos- I wish they would offer the Elote in a bowl and not just on the cob-I hate getting all that corn up in my teeth and so messy to eat- 😁- their cucumber lime juice which they don’t have every day is so good. It’s refreshing without being heavy sweet.
Wry nice service- I hope they do very well! People please support local small businesses 💜💜💜

***Enjoyed lunch so much, we went back for dinner- Ate in for first time and ordered their street tacos- $2.75 fair price as they are small- The carnitas, asada, chorizo and pastor are my favorites- The cilantro is hit or miss- Sometimes very fragrant/ tasty and sometimes no flavor- Their tortillas chips ( purchase, not free when you eat in) were tasty but did not like the red sauce ( purchase) it tasted like tomato soup- No heat- We used the sauce for our tacos on the chips- No pics, didn’t bring phone when we ate in😁

Very good Authentic Mexican food and staff is professional and make you feel welcome. Homemade Fresca is good and they make different flavors I had the cucumber and lime👌. Homemade everything!!!

I've been to this restaurant a few times and keep returning for the great food. The nachos and street tacos are excellent along with the guacamole and the salsas the pack a punch of spice! The only downsides are the chips for the nachos-which taste like they may be store bought (Freshly fried chips would easily make that dish a 10/10), and the rice that tasted slightly undercooked. However, these issues don't deter me from coming back. The friendly staff and delicious food make it a place I'd definitely recommend and make it a place that I will continue to visit!

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Livonia! The service was very friendly and accommodating, offering great recommendations. It was a nice day so we sat out on the patio. It was Taco Tuesday and the tacos were only $2 so I had four! My favorite were the fish and carnitas ones. I ordered chips and guacamole which was freshly made and delicious. I'll be back!

This was an impromptu visit. My dentist appt was canceled, so I needed to kill some time before I picked up my kiddos.

First off, Enrique is great! He greeted me as I walked in and asked if it was my first time visiting. I said, "Yes! What's good here?"

So, I ended up with the Quesobirria tacos. The meat was super tender, and the consume was soooo flavorful. I have had consume that was bland before, and this was not that. I would have licked the bowl if I hadn't been in public. 😅 The rice and refried beans were fresh and tasty. If you like a hint of spice, they have sauces to kick up the flavor. And if you are like me and want to shed a tear, they give you half of a grilled jalapeño and it brought the heat that I love! They also have a delightful selection of beverages in additionto fountain drinks. Cucumber lime lemonade, Horchata and Hibiscus Agua Fresca's. They let you sample them to see what you like. I had the Hibiscus and enjoyed it thoroughly, even got one for the road! I am very pleased with my experience and will definitely be coming back. 🥰
