I recently stopped by Burning Bridge Brewing in West Covina hoping for a tasty bite and a good time. While the spicy mango drink hit the spot, I was a little let down by the rest of my experience.

I was really looking forward to their surf and turf taco, especially since it was advertised as larger than usual. Unfortunately, it arrived in a corn tortilla. Though the staff tried to remedy the situation, it wasn't quite the satisfying solution I'd hoped for as they simply heated up a flour tortilla the same exact size as a corn tortilla (see picture). The fish taco was also a bit of a miss, with too much batter and a greasy feel. Even the fries seemed like the everyday frozen variety.

Burning Bridge has potential, and I appreciate their efforts to fix the surf and turf taco issue. With a little more attention to detail in the kitchen and clearer communication about their menu, I think they could really improve.

Hopefully, my next visit will be a more positive experience!

There is a few things you have to know about Burning Bridge

1. The beer is outstanding. There is a variety of types, for any taste, I recommend the Stout Everytime someone asks but that is just cause I love it, in reality all their beer is stellar

2. The staff is so welcoming. All are welcome

3. You might not be a punk or emo fan but when you walk into this place, its easy to see the community that is built around music and that energy and kindness is undeniable.

Trivia on Thursday, live music Friday and Saturday and a variety of other events throughout the month. If you don't stop by youre making a mistake... San Dimas is lucky to have them

I had an incredible time at Burning Bridge Brewing. I stopped in after a trail run to see what this place was about, since I had never heard of it. There were a few people inside and the place looked clean. There's a big logo right in front so you know where you're at. James was behind the bar, and he really made me feel welcome.

I stayed for a couple of pints and tasted some of their other beers. The Double IPA I had was so smooth and held its own at a whopping 9.2%. I tried a hazy for my second beer. I usually try and stay away from hazy's because I kind of just got over the craze, but to be honest, it was really good. Not too sweet. It was dry and refreshing.

I also tried a stout that they had on tap and apparently trying to get ride of to make space for a new beer. It was delicious! I'm going to go back with a few friends to show them this great new spot!

Talk about great service with a cool playlist! Throwbacks to 1990s and 2000s punk/alternative drinks!
Thursdays are Trivia Night at 7pm and it's so much fun. Great vibes and a great community. You can bring food in, and enjoy a beer or my favorite, the Mango Cider with Chamoy 🥰
Perfect after work hang out spot!

burning bridge has a solid lineup of beers on tap. it’s the first place i’ve visited in the area that has served me some interesting, complex, and well-balanced beers. i had a four-sample flight and three were absolute winners. not only are they doing more than IPAs and pilsners, they’re doing their more innovative beers really well. okay, the vibe of the place is a little strange. it feels like the dive version of a tasting room, with weird lighting, a punk theme, and a single big screen playing a baseball game. was i put off by any of that? nope. i thought it was a charmingly quirky environment in which to drink the first really good beer i’ve found in the area. it was perfectly clean and welcoming. it also seems to be dog-friendly and there was a food truck outside for snacks.

i’d love to see burning bridge get the business they deserve with such a skilful product.
