I called B and L today to see if they would help me create a Mother’s Day gift box for my daughter who lives in Santa Cruz. Shannon said she would be happy to put something together for me. I sent her photos of my daughter and described her style. Shannon put together an amazing gift box and sent me photos of her creation. It was perfect. She wrapped it up in a beautiful box and had it ready to go within an hour. If you need a custom curated gift box for any occasion, this is the place. I popped in because I saw that they had plants. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted even though there was only one other person in the store. I picked out 2 plants. One plant was $13 and the other was $27. When I went to pay for them, the lady that was at the register informed me that one was a specialty plant and that was why it was priced the way it was. I knew exactly what the price was for each plant prior to going to pay for them since they each had a price tag. Her comment caught me off guard. Did she make that comment because she thought I couldn’t afford it? After I left and met up with my husband he informed me that he had noticed her demeanor change as soon as we walked into the store and that’s why he had decided to wait for me outside.
After my experience at this store, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This shop is a favorite stop anytime I am get near downtown Santa Cruz. The variety of plants and other amazing products make every stop in a treasure hunt. Their variety or air plants is impressive. Make it a destination and you will soon find it’s your favorite as well!!

Such a beautiful shop, full of color and life, this store is a great place to find a thoughtful gift or just something gorgeous for your own home to brighten your day. We got a glass terrarium and air plant for our greenhouse window, with a little watering can.

Botanic and Luxe is beautifully curated. I recently found a few items while shopping around and ended up having them emailed to me. The staff was sooo sweet and helpful! My package came today with a sweet handwritten card. The B&L team is doing a great job!!
