Bookies Pizza is a great dining option to go with the brewery. Have pizza with your favorite craft beer or have a beer while you wait for your pizza. You decide…Any way you slice the square pie it is delicious. The pan must help bake in the ingredients into the crust.
Nice assorted pizza menu & other small plates gastro items.
We are pizza experts & Bookie’s Detroit style is delicious. We have been several times & food is always consistent. They do a really great job with the sides, wings & veggie wings too.

Bookies is a restaurant located within a brewery. Mid-townish, centrally located. Not far off the highway & Soquel. It is surrounded by shops and grocery stores. Parking on the side & street parking nearby. Kid-friendly. Bar, booth & table…Indoor & outside seating

This place has a fun at atmosphere. Cool vibes. First come first serve. You pick your own seats order at the bar . Pick it up from the window … Right off the bat the price is overly priced .. the taste did not match the price . Come hungry because the pizza is heavy . The flavors are interesting but not that delicious . We ordered the mushroom nettle pizza . It was okay . We also ordered the mushroom wings . Honestly I did not care for them. Too bready and oily unfortunately.. the atmosphere is cool and some people really seem to enjoy the food but it’s not worth it for me .

Great food! Ordered the pepperoni pizza and shitake mushroom wings.

Pizza was delicious! Bread tasted like focaccia bread with quality cheeses and pepperonic cups, overpriced but delicious!

Ok, now the shitake mushroom wings. Its literally shitake mushrooms cooked like winfs lmao. We thought it was chicken wings that has mushroom twist. Wish they labeled it “wings”. I didnt like it tho, as others pointed out it basically thick breading with sauce. Barely tasted the mushroom.

Deliciously overpriced pizza! We ordered buffalo wings, pepperoni pizza, and a tiramisu for dessert. The pizza is deep dish style. They have a small menu, but every flavor sounds delicious! One pizza was perfect for us to split. The tiramisu was very rich and yummy! The place was packed and loud. There were board games available to play. Definitely worth fighting for a seat to enjoy pizza and beer! Great pizza, try it out!

If you have not tried Detroit style pizza before, you might be surprised. It is a deep dish style pizza and more like focaccia than pizza. The dough itself takes over the cheese and toppings. The cheese is not a lot and blended very well with the toppings. We ordered kale salad, broccoli, mushroom nettle and peach pizza. I liked the mushroom nettle the most. It is very rare to see nettle used as food in US, so it surprised me in a good way.
Broccoli one was spicy.
Each pizza has 6 square slice and quite filling. We were party of four and three pizza were too much for us.
The service is laid back and you order and pick up your own food from the counter. There was no one available for asking questions or help.
The interior decor is clean and there are few tables at outside patio.
The price of the pizza is high compared to service.

One word: YUM!

BEST VEGAN PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD EVER. I am dairy free and did not have any more faith in vegan cheese until my friends told me to try this place. I think I will drive the 30 min to Santa Cruz just to eat here.

But it isn’t just about the vegan pizza the salad were bomb.com the beer - top notch and the other pizzas were phenomenal. We are very picky pizza eaters so well done Bookies 👏🏻

11/10 experience! My second visit last night was even better than my first. The Answer is Yes (Hazy IPA) is incredibly sessionable, I went home with a 4 pack. The mushroom/nettle pizza has hints of lemon that paired perfectly with it, and the dryer Saison (Anais, I think it was called?). Wonderful staff experiences, and they were busy the whole time I was there, so you know it's worth the trip. Thanks, yall! 💖🌜
