I recently visited Bombay Spiceland and had one of the worst customer service experiences ever. There was a old man at the store who clearly has no idea how to speak respectfully to customers. His rude and dismissive behavior was completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

To make things worse, many of the products on the shelves were expired. When I pointed this out, instead of addressing the issue, I was stared at like I was the problem. Absolutely unacceptable!

And let’s talk about the prices – the most overpriced Indian grocery store I’ve come across. Items that are usually half the price elsewhere were ridiculously marked up here. It feels like they’re trying to rip off customers who don’t know better.

I would not recommend this store to anyone. Rude staff, expired products, and sky-high prices – there is nothing good to say about this place. Stay away from Bombay Spiceland.

Great selection however they have a lot of items that are expired and with a black marker they have covered the expiration date, which is quite messed up

Made my eyebrows 😭 so thin. I asked for a clean up. Never going to them again. They speak 🗣️ in there language and take videos of you without consent of the customer. Not 🚫 right. Not respectful and rude. I was upset that my eyebrows were made so thin. I think 🤔💬 they do it on purpose so you come back to them. Not me. The service they're providing is not great. Trust me. If not go see for yourself. Hope you don't get a bad experience like I did.

Trust me, please trust me, this place and the owner, whose name is Madhu is a big fraud. She lies to people to sell her items. She lied to me so she could sell an item worth $10. Its not about the $10 but the fact that this is how she tries to sell her items. And the item was not good at all. She thought she she made $10 extra but she has lost a good customer forever. And the customer service too is horrible. Because I know her language, I once heard her say to an employee to not tell anyone that certain items had expired long time back. There was another instance, when she did not give me the right amount of change back and assumed I would not complain for a dollar. But I actually did and then she apologized and gave me the one dollar. There are many such things about this place that my friends too have experienced. Please avoid it or be very very careful.

Great customer service. For some reason the uncle here knows whenever you are struggling in finding anything and he comes right away to guide you. Also, he gives honest advise. Last time for example, one of the spice was close to expiration and when he saw that while checking out he discarded the item by asking that "are you going to use it right away and I responded negative uncle then he replied don't buy this beta, this is about to expire". In my mind I was like who does that ❤️. Love you uncle!
Thank you for the entire team for keeping place tidy and well maintained. I always get what I wanted from here and don't even remember returning empty handed.
Keep up the good work!!!
