Delicious and I haven’t had a great Rubin sandwich in a long time. It was worth the drive. Going back for corn beef hash the table next to us had a plate full with a couple eggs on top.

I visited Bode’s Corn Beef House and had a great experience overall. The food was excellent—the cook nailed every dish, and the flavors were spot on. It’s a cute little spot with a cozy atmosphere. The only downside was the slow service; it seemed like there was only one person running around trying to handle everything. Despite that, I’d definitely come back for the food!

The only question I have is why did it take me so long to find this place?! The service was great. Very friendly. Loads of options. Almost too many. The Reuben was excellent! Plenty big enough to have half for lunch and half for dinner. The loaded tater tots were very good. The French toast was excellent. Loved the atmosphere. Just an absolutely fantastic place. We were texting family and planning our next visit before we left.

This place is incredibly charming, the old building, decor, train track right next to it, delicious food, Liam and the rest of the waitstaff. Everything was picture perfect as you would hope for in an old restaurant. There's a good reason they have been around since 1959!! The Fish and chips was excellent and i can't wait to go back for the corned beef!! Easily one of my favorite restaurants!

I wish I would have remembered to take a better photo, but I absolutely demolished my “Tuesday special” corn beef and cabbage dinner. The dinner was fantastic. I made a bit of a drive to come visit, with a hankering for corn beef, and it certainly was worth the trip. While I wasn’t expecting to have to stop half way through my meal just to boast about good it was, here I am, with a plate half eaten, furiously typing away, mouth still full of corned beef.
It’s delicious. I really only have so much to say before I keep repeating myself about how good it is. Super tender, fairly lean, cut just right, super flavorful. Like crazy flavor! Literally, if you like corned beef, don’t come. Nothing will ever be the same for me. 😭🤣
Years ago I used to work down the road from this place, and once I got inside I realized I had ordered from here before, but I always got breakfast. So while I’m here, I’ll vouch for the breakfast too.

Food was good. Parking was confusing as the close spots say “no restaurant parking”. Not sure who is supposed to park there. The restaurant could use some updating. Old fixtures and decorations. Fun to watch trains passing.

Hands down the best customer service in Plymouth and definitely one of the best Rubens I've had. If you want a solid flavorful, thick and juicy corned beef sandwich come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other menu items. It smells amazing as soon as you walk in. I was getting take-out for my first time in but looking at some of the other customer's plates the breakfast looks great. Definitely recommended for Ruben connoisseurs, you won't be disappointed. If you're debating coming here or going to Detroit Style Corned Beef, come here, just hope you don't get stopped by the train but if you do, it's worth the wait.
