Overrated.
The cake we ordered was super dry.
Coffee was cold.
They turned off the light in the middle of eating and said we are closing with no prior notice.
The girl who was packing my baked items, dropped one of the cookies on the table and broke it and tried to cover it by her body and put the dirty and broken one in my box. I called her and asked her to change it.

WOWWW! I have gotten danishes at several of these places around here when I'm in town, and today I tried this place and it is hands down the best danishes. The key is to go first thing in the morning (we went around 7:30 am) when they're fresh out of the oven. And make sure to ask which ones are fresh out of the oven. You will not regret it. Flaky and buttery and they just melt in your mouth.

I got the apricot and my husband got the cinnamon and they were both amazing!

We brought in coffee from another location and the owner actually offered to refill them with their coffee - complimentary!

He said that they have been making Danish shoes for 73 years, his parents started the place and they use the mom's recipe to this day.

You can’t miss this place while visiting this beautiful danish town. We are visiting this place last 20 years when traveling between LA and San Francisco. And this place has barely changed.

This is one of the best bakeries in thjs town and loved by the locals.

They have a variety of mouthwatering baked items. We tried many things, but my favorite came out to be the carrot cake.
They have a nice dine in area, where a big blackboard with chalk is good to engage kids.

Ordered a bunch of stuff here including Eclairs, strawberry Boats, some cookies, Veggie sandwich, danish cookie box and coffee. The eclairs was not at all what I expected, looked like the frosting inside was just plain butter and it wasn’t sweet at all. Disappointed. The veggie sandwich though was heavy. Fresh veggies which had a nice crunch and with mayo and cheese. We choose the Squaw bread which was very good. They took awfully long time to get me a regular coffee and had to go and ask different folks about 3 or 4 times in total. The danish cookies were meh. I have had better ones.

A fantastic bakery in the Danish village of Solvang Ca. The fair is beautiful and a great portion. There is quite a large selection. They also have a good area to sit and relax while enjoying your pastries.

Amazing bakery! Forgot to take a picture but had a delicious panini with Squaw bread. My wife was curious about that bread and they gave her a small sample before ordering. Had a Napoleon as well and it was amazing.

Service is phenomenal, the bread amazing, and deserts beautiful. We stumbled upon it when visiting and thankfully the line wasn’t too bad at 1030, but by 11:00 was out the door. So seems lots of people know it is great. Would absolutely get another sandwich or desert here and appreciate a well run local bakery.
