Big Buck is great. Right off the highway as you pull in to Gaylord, it's always a good time. House-made liquors and beers, good bar food, good service, nice people. I had the cream soda old fashioned; they even make cream soda and root beer. A very nice cocktail. For food, we had the smoked wings with buffalo sauce, the nachos with chicken and all the fixins, the peach feta salad and I had the chili, and my friend had the corned beef sandwich and chips. Everything tasted good and was fresh - the wings needed seasoning, but they were smoky and perfectly cooked - crispy and juicy. Yummy sauce. The nachos were particularly good - homemade cheese sauce, fresh chips, delicious. The peach feta salad was perfect, though probably even better during peach season, and the chili was exactly what I was looking for. Hot, savory, delicious. We had questions, and our server was very accommodating. A great dinner to start off a fun weekend in Gaylord.

A very large restaurant and brewery located on the 45th parallel. Every drink is made in house, and you can even see the process happen. The wait staff was very quick and even though we had a large group, our food came quickly. The food was quite nice! Although I did hear the mac and cheese was just alright. I highly recommend this place!

Great food! Very friendly staff! Beautiful atmosphere! Beer and cocktail (cream ol fashion) were very good. The mushroom soup and wings were outstanding and the Bison burger was cooked perfect! Great place! Will be back!

This building is excellent. The beer is good. The food consistently disappoints.
We won't return as much as we want to.
I ordered my burger and bacon medium. I got both - extra-crispy.
There were only 5 tables occupied the eve before opening day.
Too bad, this location and the one in Auburn Hills were awesome.

The atmosphere was extremely relaxed, fun and welcoming! Our waiter Brett was nothing short of the best and all four of us enjoyed every bite of our food! It was the best restaurant food any of us has had in a while by far! We stopped in on a whim just to check it out and will definitely be back. You won’t be disappointed! Beer and drinks were delicious also

The atmosphere and live music was a great perk of this brewery. We had the pierogis and they were fantastic. Unfortunately the beers were unsatisfactory. We got a flight and the majority of them tasted like they added syrup. The water also tasted metallic. The place was packed and has lots of seating at the bar and multiple tables.

I’ve eaten there twice. I ordered the 8 oz filet - medium rare - both times. Both times, my steak was cooked to perfection, with a wonderful and tasty crust from grilling with a warm and a perfectly done medium rare red center. Delicious and inexpensive too! I added onion rings with mine and, yes, even though it’s not listed on the menu, they had honey mustard sauce for me to dip the large portion of rings they served with my steak. I can honestly say, I’ve NEVER had a better steak or restaurant meal!!

My first time to Big Buck and they didn’t disappoint! A total of 6 of us joined for a nice dinner, appetizers, and drinks. From the line we stepped in, the place rocked! The waitstaff greeted us promptly, took our drink order and gave us the run down in the menu. I had the mango salsa blackened salmon, to die for! A great dinner for 6, just over $200, can’t beat it! If you travel to northern Michigan, put Big Buck Brewery on your list!! 🍻
